Urban Deities: Flash

Pitre in the City
project4_urbandeities_compressed.swf
Well this is what became of my weirdo drawings from about a week ago. My Flash class final project! I made a sort of playlist type slideshow, with drawings that move. The theme is city life and different scenes/types of people.

This is exceptional, a weaker word does not apply. The quality of the illustration alone is high; the flash construction is excellent, but the concept? That's inspired.

Why use some mediocre song that rips off Gary Numan's "Cars", when you could simply use the original?

Well I happen to like the song because it pays homage to Cars. Cars is just too early of an industrial dance hit to fit for this theme. Chicane was a better choice because its kind of a band from the 90s when rave culture was at its fullest.
