Chapter 81 - Onward To The Arceanic!!

Early the next day, Rose was the first to wake up, stretching and yawning before sitting up and rubbing her dazed eyes. Looking around, she heard an odd groan and turned towards Chris, seeing him looking back at her with a pale face and dark bags under his eyes with Serenity passed out on top of him with a satisfied look on her face. "G-good morning..." he told her with the tone of a ghost in his voice, causing the rabbit to turn slightly pale herself as she looked at him wide eyed. Quickly shaking Alicia awake, the snake groaned herself before crawling out of the sheets with a yawn, scowling at Rose in irritation before tilting her head confused as she point Chris out. Looking at him herself, Alicia jumped back in surprise against Rose, slight sweat on her face as she saw how seemingly close to death he looked. Making a sound as if to ask what happened, Chris laughed weakly and looked down at Serenity as she lay on his chest. With her bikini thrown to the floor, she was back in her usual form, drooling on his exposed chest, now covered in marks from her nails and hickeys from her revenge the night before. "I uh, didn't get much sleep." he told the two, letting out a dreary sigh and shaking his head while the girls looked at one another before scowling at him. "H-hey! It's not my fault! She used her powers on me so I was stuck!" he told the two, leaving out the part about him having instigated the matter in the first place. Sighing and shaking their heads, the two worked together to pull Serenity off him causing the Pokemon to flop over on top of the two, sprawling out with a giggle and awkwardly murmuring Chris's name. Crawling their way out from under her, the two looked down at the satisfied Pokemon before scowling at the near dead human in front of them, Chris laughing nervously in response while sitting up with a groan. "I feel like an abused Rapidash that had a Snorlax going out of control on it..." he muttered, rubbing his back before buttoning up his shirt. "Don't think I'm ever doing that again." he thought to himself with a sigh before standing, several joints popping causing him to freeze up with an "urk!" before straightening.

Looking at one another, Alicia and Rose thought he'd suddenly aged as he dialed service on the phone, ordering coffee and plain doughnuts while ordering something sweeter for the girls, the two Pokemon tilting their heads when they heard him mention cinnamon rolls before thanking the person on the line and hanging up. "I'm just, uh, gonna go do... Something, I guess." he told the two, looking as if he were barely conscious as he picked up his Pokedex, nearly dropping it before dragging his feet along the room. Heading for the balcony, Chris suddenly jolt when he felt the glass, blinking in surprise before taking a step back with a shudder. "Man, really dipped last night." he muttered. Deciding against stepping out into the morning air, Chris yawned and went to the couch instead, starting up the fireplace before flopping down with a stretch and fidgeting with the Pokedex. Intrigued by his reaction to the glass, Alicia and Rose walked up to the balcony doors as well and touched it themselves, both Pokemon jolting in response with the snake showing a look of disgust, Rose merely blinking in surprise before leaning towards the glass and breathing on it. Watching curiously, Alicia saw Rose draw a smiley face on the glass before giggling, the snake rolling her eyes in response and looking around, heading towards the couch to see what Chris was up to only to find him dozing off with the Pokedex in hand. Letting out a shout, Alicia caused Chris to jump, nearly tossing his Pokedex to the floor before rubbing his eyes with a yawn and looking down at the snake. "O-oh. Sorry about that." he smiled, reaching towards Alicia and lifting her into his arms before laying back down with a yawn. "Man, last night was NOT a good night to miss out on rest. I gotta be ready to pull an all nighter tonight... Really hope my plan doesn't fall apart. It was gonna be awesome too." he murmured, the snake looking at him and tilting her head as he somberly sighed before showing her a smile. "Don't worry about it. I just couldn't sleep because I was surrounded by pretty girls was all. Guess I still get shy around you sometimes!" he told her with a nervous smile, Alicia scowling at him knowing exactly what he did last night after finding him and Serenity in their positions.

Letting out a sigh, she shook her head before sitting up on top of him and holding her tail. Looking at her curiously, Chris watched as her leaves began glowing, his eyes going wide when she suddenly tore one off and let out a hiss before handing it to him, the gift continuing to glow in his hand as she rubbed the cut on her tail from where the leaf was, grumbling and scowling as he continued looking at her in surprise. About to ask her the reason behind the act, Chris was interrupted by a knocking at the door, a call from room service heard from the other side. "Th-that was quick." he muttered, looking at Alicia as she slithered onto the arm of the couch and continued rubbing her tail, motioning for him to answer the door. With a bewildered nod, he got up and allowed the staff inside, wheeling in a cart carrying a kettle of coffee along with two covered platters. With a bow, they excused themselves as he gave his thanks, closing the door behind them before returning to the cart and opening the kettle lid to smell the coffee with a sigh. "Gooood stuff." he thought to himself before setting everything up on the table in front of the couch. Motioning for Alicia to come over and calling out to Rose, who was still breathing against the glass and doodling, both joined him as he poured himself a cup of coffee and took the lid off the platter containing the cinnamon rolls, both Pokemon going wide eyed and smelling the air before showing a smile from ear to ear. "That's for you girls, dig in." he smiled, setting several aside for Serenity before looking over the glowing leaf Alicia had given him. Noticing this, Alicia called out to him, motioning to hand it over. Blinking at her, Chris nodded and watched as she took it and jumped onto the table. "S-so uh, yeah. WHY exactly...?" he asked, tilting his head as she suddenly started ripping the leaf apart, crumpling the pieces in her hands over his cup causing the bits to fall into his coffee. Once she was finished, Alicia found a leftover spoon he'd forgotten from the night before and stirred it for a moment, causing the coffee to glow just like the leaf before the light faded and it looked like an ordinary drink again.

"Huh... Kinda like tea leaves or something? Wrong drink for that though." he smiled nervously, Alicia snapping at him and pointing at his cup. Looking at the two curiously, Rose tilt her head while snatching a roll for herself and nibbling away, shuddering from the sweetness and letting out a happy sigh as he lift the cup, tilting his head before shrugging. "Well, bottoms up I guess." he muttered before taking a sip. "Haaah, nothing like a good cup of...!!" he paused, jolting wide eyed as if he'd suddenly been smacked . "E-energy. Woah." he muttered, looking down at the cup. "Whatever you did, this stuff feels like it could put wings on a Snorlax!" he told Alicia, the snake smirking before helping herself to a roll. Waving at him to keep drinking, she jumped back on the couch and nibbled at her food, Chris taking the lid off the other platter and helping himself to one of his doughnuts, dipping it into the coffee and jolting again when it went in his mouth. "Oh yeah, THAT'S the ticket! You're awesome!" he chuckled, enjoying himself as Alicia faced away with a smirk and a slight blush before jolting and rubbing the sore on her tail once more. After a moment, the smell of cinnamon reached Serenity causing her to stir before slowly sitting up, rubbing her eyes with a yawn and sniffing the air. Tilting her head, she poked her face out of the curtain and sniffed the air once again, looking at Chris and noticing the steam rising in front of him from the food. With a grin on her face, she climbed out of bed and sneaked up behind him before shouting "morning!!!" and hugging him around the neck, causing Chris to shout in surprise making Alicia and Rose jump in response. "Oh delightful, the pest is up." Alicia muttered. "At least it means we can talk now!" Rose smiled. "H-ha ha, g-good morning." Chris replied. "I sleep sooooo good last night. Bet you sleep good too, huh?" she asked with a giggle, poking Chris on the cheek causing him to laugh nervously. "S-sure. Like a baby." he replied as she jumped over the back of the couch and plopped down next to him causing Chris to bounce in the air slightly, carefully making sure not to spill his coffee on himself. "Would you settle down?!" Alicia snapped, not wanting to waste using her leaf in his coffee. "Not be so cranky." Serenity scowled before noticing the cinnamon rolls, her eyes suddenly shining as she snatched one in each hand and stuffed her mouth, shuddering and cooing as Chris took another doughnut with a sigh.

By the time Chris was finished, he'd come to feel as though he'd somehow come to have a full nights sleep, both his pain and fatigue having vanished as he stood with a stretch. "Seriously, how DID you do that?" he asked the snake as she tried eating yet another roll, yet struggled due to her already bloated stomach. "It was simple really. It's just like how my kind can absorb energy through our leaves. We can also direct it back into them in reverse, in concentrated amounts. It's not something humans really know about as we tend to keep it rather private so we don't find ourselves hunted just for our restorative abilities. Be it for energy or healing, one of our leaves can do the trick when filled with our own nutrients." she smirked. "Yeah but, looks like doing that for me really hurt." he replied with a concerned look. "Not just tearing off the leaf, but filling them with nutrients IS rather uncomfortable. It's not easy doing something basically in reverse like that. It's really something any of our kind can do, ones similar to my species that is so long as we know how to manipulate ourselves." she explained. "Manipulate yourselves...?" Chris asked, sitting next to her. "Let me think... You humans have names for different abilities we have. To make what I just did possible, I used a combination of calm mind, rest, just a TOUCH of energy ball, and I used giga drain on myself internally to direct my own various reservoirs into my leaves, resulting in that little concoction. The, I believe they refer to it as ZING you felt, was due to the energy ball I mixed into the leaf. Just imagine taking one head on!" she smirked. "I-I'll pass on that. Just drinking the energy you use for that attack is enough to make me wary. Stuff nearly made me back flip off the couch!" he laughed. "Still, who knew Pokemon could do stuff like that..." he muttered, looking down at his now empty cup. "Not all can, only smart ones like yours truly. Mainly... I believe you humans call us grass types?" she asked. "Y-yeah. You really do your research." he told her. "Well, one of us has to. I don't see you using that human contraption for anything besides looking at what you call boats and calling others." she scoffed, pointing out his Pokedex causing Chris to jolt and sulk with an embarrassed laugh. Seeing his reaction, Alicia cleared her throat and apologized for the remark before looking at the roll in her hand and groaning, deciding to offer it to Rose who took it and nibbled away.

"Hey, I smart too! I can give energy!" Serenity said with her hand in the air before reaching out to Chris with her lips puckered. "Th-that's not energizing, that's draining!!" Chris panicked, jumping away from the Pokemon causing her to scowl at him with a pouty expression. "N-no more of that. I've h-had enough for a while." he added, waving his hands before heading towards the drawers for a change of clothes. "Hrmph. I get all I need last night anyway." Serenity pout, sitting with a plop and her arms crossed. "Tch, and nearly killed him. Lecherous swine." Alicia scoffed quietly. "What that?!" Serenity snapped. "Nothing, nothing." Alicia replied, waving her hand in response causing Serenity to scowl. "Lucky we still on cruise and have promise to keep..." she replied. "That a challenge for when we get off?" Alicia grinned. "Alright, don't start!" Chris lectured, causing the two Pokemon to jolt and face away from one another, Rose looking at the two and smiling nervously. With his clothes for the day chosen, Chris headed for the bathroom leaving the three alone, reminding them to behave before shutting the door. After a moment, Serenity glanced at Alicia who was slumped down, rubbing her stomach and groaning. With a grin, she picked up one of the remaining rolls and waved it in front of the snakes face. "Want nother'?" she teased, Alicia watching the roll wave by her face and turning slightly pale, covering her mouth and pushing it away. "Don't you dare." she grumbled. "Come on! It tasty! Not waste food!" Serenity chuckled before waving it in Alicia's face once more and pressing it against her mouth. "Looks like the peace isn't gonna last." Rose thought to herself, backing away from the two with a nervous laugh and sitting in one of the chairs as Serenity continued teasing Alicia, pushing her into getting angry as the snake wrestled against her. By the time Chris came out of the bathroom, the two were rolling all over the floor, Alicia finally getting the upper hand and taking the roll away before shoving it in Serenity's mouth and snapping at the mischievous Pokemon, walking off with her nose up while Serenity sat up laughing, munching on the roll before noticing Chris. "Oy veh..." he muttered, shaking his head with a sigh before tossing his pajamas in the basket.

"Alright you three, we've got a busy day ahead so lets hop to it! I need to take care of the built up laundry and we need to pick things for you to wear while we're at the valley so you can keep warm." he reminded. "I still think it's kinda weird wearing human clothes, especially for me since I have fur." Rose replied, walking up and rubbing one of her ears. "Ha ha, come on. There isn't a girl alive who doesn't like shopping, ESPECIALLY for clothes!" Chris grinned, the three looking at one another. "For some reason, that make me feel... Annoyed." Serenity replied. "A bit of a stereotypical ring to it." Alicia nodded. "I-I'm not trying to say anything wrong or mean!" Chris panicked, waving his hands as the three shrugged. "Don't worry about it. We don't even really get WHY it bothers us so we can let it go. Besides it's not THAT bad I guess." Rose assured. Looking at them, Chris sulked and apologized as they headed out the door, making sure to grab his staff and coat along the way. As they made their way through the corridors, the girls noticed countless passengers now wearing things like sweaters and coats, looking at one another and tilting their heads. "Yep, gonna be seein' more and more people bundling up. Inhere it feels great, but you step outside and whooo boy. Just you wait until we reach the valley!" Chris chuckled. "It's probably not that bad outside right now, but the next few days things are really gonna plunge. Remember how the window felt? That's because of how chilly it got over night." he explained. "The more you speak, the more I feel like dropping this little trip of yours altogether." Alicia muttered before slithering her way atop his shoulders. "I've never been to a place like that. How do humans survive? I mean, I have my fur but..." Rose asked, looking herself over before looking at the passengers around them. "Well, even with all that fur you're still gonna be cold without something on. Where we're going, Pokemon like Seels and Dewgongs, Snorunt and Glalie, Snover and Abomasnow. Oh! And Froslass. Cubchoo and Beartic..." he went on, the girls tilting their heads bewildered. "Pardon for interrupting, but just because we're what you humans call Pokemon it doesn't mean we inherently know the countless kinds of us there are in this world." Alicia point out causing Chris to jolt and laugh embarrassed. "R-right, sorry." he apologized. "It's fine. It shows you dedicate yourself to research, you just have to keep in mind we know next to nothing about where you're dragging us. And being honest I have no desire to learn more than I need to until we arrive." she told him, waving her hand as they walked into the Grand Staircase lobby.

Pausing for a moment, Chris looked up towards the plaque at the top of the stairs, a smirk appearing on his face causing the girls to blink at him curiously. "Whatcha so happy about all of a sudden?" Rose asked, tugging on the side of his coat. "O-oh, nothing. Just the surprise popping into my mind again. Tonight's gonna be great." he grinned. "Still not telling." Serenity sighed, shaking her head and crossing her arms. "Hey! You don't spoil surprises! Besides it's like I said, only one or two of mine turned out bad! My track record is just fine thank you!" he replied, scowling at her. "Oh do calm down. You tell us not to quarrel yet look at yourself." Alicia point out, causing Chris to jolt and face away embarrassed. "A-anyways, come on. Lets get to the lower deck where the shops are and see what we can find." he replied before leading the group down the staircase. Once they stepped before the colossal mall-esque deck however, they were greeted by a bustling crown of passengers, busily running about shopping for themselves and indulging themselves in whatever sales the stores had to offer. "G-geez, maaaaybe it would've been better to prep for the north BEFORE people felt the cold moving in." Chris laughed nervously. "Or maybe we shoulda' done this back in the city?" Rose pointed out with a nervous laugh of her own. "Or maybe we shouldn't being to this northern location at all." Alicia grumbled. Looking around, Serenity shrugged and winked at Chris. "This not problem! Get humans out of way easy!" she grinned, raising her hands and about to part everybody out of their way with her psychic abilities only for Chris to jump in nervously and quickly shove her hands down in a panic. "N-no no!! Not necessary!! We'll get through just fine without that!!" he told her, letting out a sigh as Serenity scowled. "Do hard way then, be guest." she replied with a scowl, crossing her arms as they looked around.

Passing by various window displays, Chris stopped Serenity and Rose in front of each, looking them over time and again while having them make various poses, allowing him to picture the various outfits covering the two. "There's some good stuff here, buuuut... Really wanna make sure it matches you two properly. I don't wanna make you look bad or anything." he muttered, glancing at various windows as Serenity and Rose looked at one another and grinned. "Kinda nice having him look at us so much!" Rose told her in a hushed tone. "After last night, course he want to look at me!" Serenity grinned, the rabbit tilting her head curiously causing Serenity to jolt and face away with a nervous laugh. "Alright, we're not gonna get very far just looking at the displays. I just wanted to get some sort of idea what type of places would have stuff that suits you best. So..." he paused, looking around before finally pointing out a shop and guiding the girls inside. "You know, I'm right here." Alicia grumbled, crossing her arms from watching him, in her mind, swoon over the others. "Oh relax. I'll custom tailor your stuff myself." he assured, waving at her while looking around. "Make everything yourself huh? Yeah, well..." the snake replied, facing away with a scowl. Deep down, she wasn't against wearing human clothing if he made it, and it gave her a sense of being unique since he simply bought clothes for the other two. With this in mind, she managed to brush off her temper and jealousy as they browsed the shop, trying to find something warm for the girls during their stay in the valley.

Over time, he took the group through what seemed like half the clothing shops on the deck, carrying bag after bag along his arms like a rack by the time they were done, with Serenity and Rose carrying their own loads as well. "S-see? T-told you it'd be f-fun for you." Chris said with a nervous laugh, trying to carry everything he'd piled on his arms as Serenity and Rose struggled themselves. "Maybe... Get too much?" Serenity asked. "I did kinda lose track of how much I picked out along the way." Rose added. "I-its fine. No worries. I wanted you to get stuff you liked, and you did." Chris assured them, suddenly stumbling but managing to straighten himself, letting out a sigh of relief. "I just wasn't sure how MUCH you'd get into it once you started looking around. Gotta admit you girls could give a lot of people a run for their money!" he laughed, letting out a sigh and facing away. "And mine..." he murmured while walking behind them, the two looking back and tilting their heads. "Ah! H-ha ha. Nothing. Didn't say a thing." he told the two, both raising an eyebrow before shrugging and making their way along. "My word, to think such a lecherous dog could have such quality taste." Alicia said, popping up from one of the bags hanging from Chris's arms and holding up part of a large white fur coat Serenity had chosen. "It feel nice! It fluffy!" Serenity snapped, scowling at the snake in irritation. "I suppose, but several things YOU picked are... Fluffy. These things humans call sweaters you picked out will have you looking more like something one of our kind hacked up than anything." Alicia point out, holding up one of the red sweaters from another bag that more fur on it than the coat. "There nothing wrong with fluffy things. Besides, MY master say I look CUTE in fluffy things!" Serenity point out, the word master causing Chris to groan. "S-seriously? Calling me that in public again? And whats with the possessive emphasis?" he asked, the Pokemon facing back with a scowl. "If I say you mine, then that make you mine. Need another lesson?" she asked, suddenly giving him a dark grin causing Chris to turn pale and rapidly shake his head. "N-no ma'am." he replied, Serenity nodding with a "good!" in response, giggling as she walked onward.

"Well now, it appears she's got you whipped." Alicia said, looking up at Chris as he sighed. "You've NO idea. Never mess with a psychic Pokemon." he groaned. "Mess with? Say what now?" she asked. "F-forget it. Rather not talk about it." he answered, the snake raising an eyebrow before scowling at Serenity's back. "Can sense you giving me looks!" Serenity warned, causing Alicia to jolt and face away. "Well good for you!" she replied before rummaging through the bags Chris had once again. "A-anyways, while I'm glad you girls got so into clothes shopping, I gotta admit I didn't expect you going for... Certain things." he told them, looking at some of the bags stuffed with lingerie. "W-well, those are kinda required for humans, right?" Rose asked, glancing back at him. "W-well yeah, guess if we're buyin' outfits that shoulda' been expected but, still... I had no idea you two would of had such an interest in THAT stuff." he replied. "Well, when we wear them for you it make you look happy so we pick lots. Ones that make you red!" Serenity point out causing Chris jolt and glance around nervously, Rose looking in some of the bags in her hands and blushing embarrassed. "D-dunno why but it feels wrong for humans to see this kinda stuff on us. Wrong for our kind to see it too... S-so I think only YOU should see THOSE things on us." Rose point out. "W-well DUH!!" Chris shout with a flush on his face, causing all three girls to jump in surprise, several passengers around them facing their direction and blinking confused causing him to groan and hide his head between his shoulders. "J-just no more talking. Lets get back to the room." he muttered before hurrying the two along. Looking at one another, Serenity and Rose both smiled over him getting so flustered over the subject, the two Pokemon leaning against his sides happily. "Not worry. We not let anybody see but you. So not let yourself get stressed." Serenity assured, rubbing her nose against his cheek causing Chris to jolt and face away grumbling shyly.

"Behaving in such a manner over our kind wearing human undergarments, I believe other humans would call that a disturbing fetish." Alicia point out, both Serenity and Rose shouting her name in unison, irritated by the remark while Chris slumped in guilt over the piercing words. "N-not disturbing!! Not bad at all!! It good fetish!!" Serenity panicked, only causing him to groan all the more as his level of humiliation grew, more and more people starting to raise eyebrows at them as they headed towards the Grand Staircase lobby. "P-please, I'm begging you, stop." he replied quietly, both Serenity and Rose looking at him sadly before they scowled at the snake. "Oh whatever, you lot always get riled up over the stupidest things." she scoffed, waving her hand before slithering out of the bag she was in and up his arm before resting across his shoulders. "Lift your head up and stop waltzing about looking like a fool. That's more embarrassing and awkward than the truth if you ask me." she told him, giving the back of Chris's head a swat with her tail causing him to jolt and grumble at her. "S-seriously, you really COULD learn to be a little nicer when it comes to your opinion. Yeah your honesty is good, but still." he replied, letting out a sigh and straightening up while Alicia rolled her eyes and shook her head. "If I may, the fact you're ashamed by your preferences is more bothersome than the fetish itself. Nothing's worse than a spineless male. If it's what you're into then it's just who you are. In case you haven't noticed there have been others of our kind dressed in human clothing on this ship as well. I'd wager beneath those garments they're wearing the same type of things, so I doubt many would judge you even if what those two wear is a little, well, saucy." she told him, Serenity and Alicia glancing back with a scowl. Looking at the snake, Chris wanted to thank her yet at the same time felt too uncomfortable with the situation to continue the topic any further, instead nodding at the snake before clearing his throat, Alicia getting the hint and nodding back.

Once they were back in their room, Chris and the girls went through what they had bought, putting away what wasn't needed and allowing each to pick one of the coats they wanted to wear before heading outside. With Serenity choosing her white fur coat, she pulled it on and gave herself a hug, its length reaching down near her ankles while rubbing her face into her sleeves and swooning over it while Rose picked one of her own, a small red tart coat that went down to her knees. "So, you girls really like em' huh?" he asked, the two nodding and grinning. "Soooo fluffy." Serenity swooned. "It's weird, since I have fur I thought it'd kinda be uncomfortable but this human stuff is pretty nice. A little stuffy though." Rose added, the two looking themselves over. "Well, as long as they keep you warm that's all I'm worried about. You two do look cute though." he smiled, giving them a thumbs up causing the girls to blush slightly and fidget. "In your case Alicia, until I get some things put together for you do ya mind hiding away in my shirt? That way you can keep warm too. The cold gets to you way more than them." he told the snake, causing her to blush herself and face away with a nod. "Alright then. With the shopping outta the way and put up, lets get back out there. We need to get to the bridge and meet up with the captain and his officers, if they're not too caught up in other stuff... This time I'll need all of them in on what I'm gonna do." he explained, heading back towards the door. "With your fur in mind, if you do get too hot in that just hand your coat to me, alright Rose?" he told the rabbit, getting a nod in response. "So you're finally putting your little, er, plan or surprise thing in motion huh?" Alicia asked. "Yeah, it all happens tonight." he smirked. "IF they agree to what I need them to do anyways. Hopefully it won't be too much to ask of them." he added with a slightly nervous look on his face. Slithering up his leg and underneath his shirt, Chris jolt and squirmed in response to Alicia moving about against him, snickering as she made her way up to his collar and popped her head up under his chin. "Ooohhh that's lovely." she cooed with a shudder from his body heat. "Anyway, don't fret over it. So long as the humans at the top like you I doubt the others will give you a problem. What were their names again? That Captain and Chief up there I mean. They seem on rather good terms with you so I'd say you can be at ease." she assured him.

"Y-you still haven't gotten their names memorized?" Chris asked. "Well, it's not like we'll see them for very long. Why bother? I only remember those who are worth remembering." she replied. "Th-that's harsh." he smiled nervously. "Come on!! Go go!!" Serenity rushed, suddenly opening the door and pushing Chris along causing him to stumble. "H-hey!! Easy!!" he panicked as they left the room. "Wh-what's the sudden rush for?" he asked, both she and Rose suddenly grabbing him by the arms and hands and pulling him along. "Want to walk with you in clothes! Not stand talking." she replied. "O-oh, wanna show off huh?" he smiled, the two blushing slightly once again. "W-well no need to rush off. Ease up." he coaxed, offering to let them hold his arms casually instead of seemingly trying to pull them off. Giving a simultaneous apology, the girls took him up on their offer as they made their way towards the Grand Staircase, the two noticing the crowd in the lobby causing Serenity to hold her head up with a smirk while Rose faced down with a shy smile, the two leaning against his sides as random passengers looked at the group. "Maybe I spent too much on their coats?" Chris thought to himself as several people muttered about seeing what the girls had on in one of the costliest shops, seemingly surprised over the amount used on Pokemon. While Chris smiled and waved at the passengers taking notice of them nervously, the girls continued walking along happily as they headed upstairs and made their way out onto the deck, Serenity and Alicia jolting from the sudden cool temperature while Rose sighed, relieved to be out of the heat within the ship. "NOW it's cozy being in this." she giggled. "It really DID get colder." Serenity added, looking around at the countless passengers roaming about bundled up. "Well, wadaya expect?" Chris asked, taking out his Pokedex and checking the weather. "Looks like we've barely hit 50° today. Pretty big drop compared to this time yesterday. Still, it'll help you girls adjust to the new climate so just bear with it. Your bodies are used to the southern atmosphere, but given time you'll be just as comfortable up north too." he assured, Alicia ducking down into his shirt. "I highly doubt that. Mind tucking in your shirt and buttoning up your coat?" she asked."Y-yeah. No problem." he nodded, working his shirt in his pants before closing up his coat. "Much better." she told him before hiding away in his clothes, now able to relax comfortably as if cradled in a hammock against his torso without falling out of the bottom of his shirt.

Making their way along the deck, several passengers and Pokemon alike continued looking at the group, causing Serenity's ego to swell all the more while Rose giggled excitedly, hugging Chris along their way. "It makes me nervous being looked at in those suit things humans wear, but it feels pretty nice getting this kind of attention wearing something cute." she told him. "Ha ha, you girls are definitely real head turners. Beautiful in a suit and cute as a button in winter clothes." he chuckled, poking the rabbit on the nose. "I'll admit what you two are wearing IS on the fancy side too so that's probably another reason. You'd better take good care of those!" he reminded them, both nodding in response. When they finally reached the staircase leading up to the bridge, Serenity suddenly stopped when she saw the Lucario and Garchomp from before, walking along with what appeared to be their trainers. Tapping Chris on the shoulder, she pointed them out and gave him a wink, putting a finger over her mouth with a "shhh" before she took Rose with her. "What's she...?" he wondered, poking his coat where Alicia was so she popped her head out from his collar. "What is it?" she asked, Chris pointing out the girls as they walked up behind the two Pokemon, Serenity leaning over saying something to Rose. While they watched, Serenity brushed her hand along the back of Lucario's head while Rose brushed her hand along Garchomp's back, both Pokemon jumping from the startle and quickly turning only to freeze up and flush when they saw the girls. Giving Lucario and wink, Serenity giggled and poked him on the nose, walking around the Pokemon and brushing her sleeve against the side of his face while Rose pulled off a cute act for Garchomp, seemingly asking what he thought as she made a pose and winked before holding the tip of its claw. Looking at one another, the two Pokemon sweat slightly, gulping as the girls teased them until they finally waved goodbye and headed back towards Chris. Looking at the two, he was about to walk up to them and ask what was up only to pause when the two turned around and suddenly blew a kiss together towards Lucario and Garchomp causing the two Pokemon to jolt and flush all the more before the girls returned to Chris's side. "Wh-what was THAT about?" he asked.

"Oh, not worry. Just want to tease. We know they like us so felt like messing with them. It was good chance to show off clothes! It feel good when wearing this make others act like them." Serenity grinned. "Th-that was really embarrassing for me though... Are you sure it's alright to mess with them like that? We're with Chris and all." Rose asked nervously, poking her fingers with a slightly guilty look on her face. Looking down at her, Chris glanced back at Lucario and Garchomp as well, watching as they both grinned excitedly before hurrying along to catch up with their trainers. "I-it's fine. It definitely made them happy at least. Besides, in a way you girls kinda owed them after the way you treated them when you first met I guess. Just don't string them along like that too strongly. It's like you said, they're into you so it wouldn't be hard to push it too far." he reminded the two. "Oh it fine. We only tease them once. It make you jealous?" Serenity asked, leaning against him with a grin and about to put her hand on his chest only for Alicia to growl and bite her, causing the Pokemon to freeze up before pulling away with a scream and rubbing the mark on her hand. "Behave you lecherous dog." Alicia scowled. Grumbling at the snake, Serenity gave Chris a "what are you gonna do?" glare, causing him to jolt and face away nervously. "J-just behave you two. You've done good up until now so don't ruin it." he told them, Alicia looking up at him before facing Serenity and sticking out her tongue before hiding away in his shirt once more, Serenity sticking her tongue out as well while continuing to rub her hand with a pouty look on her face. Sighing and shaking his head, Chris took her hand and looked it over. "She just nipped you is all. The mark isn't even that bad either. Come on now, I know you're a tougher girl than that." he reminded her, giving the Pokemon a kiss on the mark nonetheless causing her to blush slightly, taking her hand away and rubbing it again with a nod. "Anyways, no, I'm not jealous per se'. I'm actually impressed if anything that you were willing to go out of your way to communicate with others, even if it was to mess with them. And considering who it was you girls went up to, all I can really say is nice job." he smirked, rubbing the two on the head causing them to blink at him bewildered.

"That's a pretty impressive step compared to kicking them across a pool out of nowhere just for flirting with you. I know you did it to try and get a rise out of me as much as them, but I think it was actually kinda nice of you to make them feel that way after how you've given them such a rough treatment so far. After the ball buster and the silent response afterwards when they... Borrowed, all those puffs for you, I think that was a nice way to make up for it. Now if you go flirting with every Pokemon or whatever that you see, I guess then I could wind up a little testy eventually." he admit, both Pokemon looking at one another before giving him a "you're hopeless" kind of smile in response. "Wh-what? Am I missing something? I thought what I said was kinda sweet." he told them, glancing away embarrassed as the two shook their heads, Serenity patting his shoulder while Rose pat his side. "I admit, Alicia right when she say sometimes you too nice." she told him before heading up the steps towards the bridge. "Yeah, kinda wanted to see you get a least a little jealous." Rose admit with a nervous laugh before following Serenity, leaving Chris at the foot of the steps tilting his head with a confused look. "Well, it's kinda hard to get jealous over you two when I know you'd never SERIOUSLY do that kind of stuff. Neither of you have that kind of heart." he smiled nervously while heading up as well. "You've both made it clear you're stuck to me like glue so really I don't have any reason to worry about stuff like that. It's not that I'm too nice or anything I just trust in the two of you enough to know you'd never actually do something like that to me. I knew you were just foolin' with those two and it's like I said, in a way they deserved the pep-up, they're not bad Pokemon they just think you girls look good. I can't blame them for wanting to put moves on you!" he laughed, Serenity and Rose glancing back with a slight blush causing them both to stumble on the stairs, Chris quickly catching both by the arm. "C-careful! These steps are made of metal!" he cautioned, both flushing out of embarrassment and quickly straightening up.

"And that brings me to my next point, those two couldn't handle the amount of attention you girls need to be kept out of trouble and harms way." he chuckled, both scowling at him as Alicia snickered in his clothes. "I hear males like the stupid ones. That explains why they chose those two." she spoke up, her voice muffled by his clothing causing Serenity and Rose both to growl and ball up their fists. "H-hey now! Easy! You try attacking her and I'm gonna get knocked all the way down the steps! I don't wanna die like THAT!" he told the two, waving his hands nervously, the girls
scowling before turning and heading further up. "O-oy, watch what ya say. I told you about that already! That's dangerous, ESPECIALLY up here." he told Alicia, giving her a nudge. "Yes, yes. Don't mind me." she replied, resting on her back at the bottom of his tucked in shirt and yawning. Shaking his head with a sigh, Chris walked up with the girls, jolting with a slight blush when he face up and got a view under Rose's coat, the rabbit glancing back about to say something only to notice his intense gaze. "What are you looking at?" she asked, trying to look behind herself thinking something was on her back causing Chris to jolt and quickly face away. "N-nothing!" he replied embarrassed. Tilting her head, Rose felt behind herself, reaching towards the bottom of her coat and noticing him glancing at her once more. Feeling around, she suddenly flushed and yanked the back of her coat down. "D-don't be that way!!" she suddenly shout causing Chris to stumble, clinging to the bars nervously as Serenity jumped as well. "W-what wrong?" she asked. Looking at Chris with a shy look, Rose glanced away and fidget. "N-nothing. I don't know." she replied, facing down embarrassed as he stood and cleared his throat. "I uh, I'm gonna take the lead." he told the two, quickly nudging his way past and continuing up the stairs with an embarrassed look of his own.

"He do something to you?" Serenity asked, tilting her head as Chris found himself preoccupied with giving his papers and tickets to the guards before them. "N-no. He just looked at me was all." Rose explained as they waited. "Look at you? What bad about that? He always look at us." Serenity replied. Casually reaching behind herself with one hand and tugging down the back of her coat once again, another blush of embarrassment spread across the rabbits face. "I-I know, but when we wear this kinda stuff it feels different being looked at. I can't explain it. Being looked at just feels, well, wrong. But not in a bad way, when it's him doing the looking at least. It's hard to describe." Rose told her, letting out a "can we drop it?" groan. Tilting her head again, Serenity shrugged as they finally gained permission to pass and reached the balcony surrounding the bridge, looking around at the view while heading towards the entrance. "Alright girls, you be on your best behavior in here." he told them, nudging Alicia and calling her out, the snake slithering up from his collar and atop his shoulders, wrapping herself around his neck like a scarf. "We be good, not worry." Serenity assured with her hand up, Rose nodding in response. Giving them a quick thanks, Chris pat his coat off, straightening his clothes and posture before taking a deep breath and heading inside. Looking around, the officers were busy as ever while Captain Rostron and Chief Smith went over various tasks with some of the crew, directing them this way and that with various paperwork consisting of to-do lists to go over with the rest of the staff on board below deck. Standing out of the way until the two were free, the group finally got a chance to walk up to the men as they poured themselves yet another cup of coffee, a slightly fatigued look on their faces as they noticed Chris and the girls heading up.

"Well well, I believe I see you lot more than anyone else on this ship! Save for the crew of course." Rostron chuckled, yawning before having a sip of coffee. "What's got you two looking so dragged down?" Chris asked, blinking at the two as they looked at one another and sighed. "Oh, just the preparations for tomorrows ceremony. We'll be halting the ship over the Arceanic site once we arrive in the morning and spend the day paying respects and such. Making sure everything is spot on 100% perfect for a once in a lifetime moment like this takes it out of men our age considering how massive the event will be. Our own excitement combined with the tasks at hand have just left us a little weary is all. A few cups of this and a moment or two of peace and we'll be right as rain again, rest assured lad." Rostron smiled. "Ha! Speak for yourself. After drinking this stuff all your life it feels like it takes a barrels worth just to give you the slightest perk." Smith grumbled, looking down at his coffee and murmuring about needing a darker serving. "So, what brings you lot up here again? Seems like whenever we've seen you its been because of some type of trouble, or..." Smith paused, raising his eyebrow. "A favor." he finished, taking a sip as Chris laughed nervously, the girls looking at one another with worried expressions of their own. "W-well uh, you kinda got me there." Chris replied, the men giving one another wary looks. "Told you so." Smith muttered, heading towards the window and drinking more of his coffee. "W-well uh, what's on your mind lad?" Rostron asked with slight sweat on his face. Looking at the girls, Chris faced down for a moment before looking at the officers. "I uh, kinda..." he paused, rubbing his arm nervously. "Need you to have all the passengers and crew show up on the bow tonight." he said rapidly and in a hushed tone, Rostron blinking and raising an eyebrow. "Someones pregnant and needs to chew... Say what now?" he asked bewildered, the girls looking at Chris just as confused.

Taking a deep breath, Chris straightened up before bowing, the Captain raising an eyebrow as the girls looked at one another and shrugged. "I need you to summon everyone on the ship to the bow tonight, by 2:30 in the morning." he repeat, the Captain nearly choking on his coffee while Smith heard and wound up spitting on the window, coughing and turning to face the group wide eyed as Rostron swallowed and coughed himself. "E-everyone?! THAT late?! Good heavens lad!! Even as a Captain a man can only do so much!!" he replied in surprise. "Summoning a ship full of people to the bow could cause immeasurable panic, and that is NOT something we can afford to do to these people on THIS cruise especially." he added, rubbing and clearing his throat. Taking out his handkerchief, Smith cleaned off the window as the officers watched them as well, equally surprised by the request. "I-I know it's a lot to ask, but I'll take full responsibility! I've got something set up for everybody, for you, the Chief and officers, the crew and passengers. I really want everyone to see this. If you can help set everything up, I give you my word it'll be worth it!" Chris told the Captain, the girls remaining silent as the Captain scratched the back of his head under his cap with a nervous look on his face. "That's a real hefty order. Plus the crew will be especially busy throughout the next 24 hours and beyond. To interrupt everything on the ship for one man, even if you are first class..." the Captain replied. "CERTAINLY NOT!! Don't you dare condone such a thing!!" Smith shout, walking up next to the Captain. "Listen, I've nothing against you lot personally but I'll not have an entire ship cater to a passengers every whim! Slowing her down was one thing but outright dropping all duties just to humor some little idea that likely just popped into your head at random?! I'll not have it even if I am below the Captains title!" Smith lectured, Rostron looking at him nervously. "W-well, Smith's not wrong. We really can't just suddenly do such a thing. Even if we do like ya lad I'm afraid that's just out of the question. That goes completely against our regulations. We have titles to uphold, and we could lose everything if we allowed such an extraordinary disruption to our operations because of randomly being yes men to a single passenger out of the blue." the Captain added, an apologetic look on his face.

Looking at the two men, Chris thought silently for a moment, jolting when Serenity put a hand on his shoulder and tapped the side of her head, signalling she could control the two if he wanted. Shaking his head, Chris put up his hand, the Pokemon giving him a worried look and nodding before backing away. "L-Listen, this isn't just some tiny little speech or anything. What I've planned is huge, it's never been seen or done before. If you two could just think it over for a while, just give me a chance to do this, you won't be disappointed and I can almost guarantee the people on this ship would have one more reason to remember this cruise, to remember all of you, in a really amazing way. This could be the last ship you two operate, right? Let me help all of you go out with a bang, please. I'm just asking you to let me show my respects to everyone, both here and on the Arceanic in my own way. I will take responsibility for everything, like I said. You just have to make an announcement that I'm the one who's set up a special event for everyone on board. If people have any issues with it, I'll take the blame and complaints head on. I'll do my best to make sure none of you get any trouble out of it yourselves so, think it over?" he asked before shaking the Captain and Chief's hands. "Mr. Smith's right, we have caused our share of issues on the ship, and we have been kind of unreasonable. We've taken up your time, we've been the cause of trouble with the chef and his crew. I want to make up for what we have done wrong and reward everyone for their kindness towards us on this cruise, and for their friendship." he told the two men, both looking at one another silently. Facing Chris, Captain Rostron took a deep breath and let out a sigh, putting a hand on his shoulder. "We'll see..." he told Chris, the officers and Smith looking at the Captain in shock. "Y-You can't be serious!! To even CONSIDER something of that magnitude out of the random for one man?!" Smith shout. "I said we'll see, and that's that. It couldn't hurt to think it over amongst ourselves at the very least. Outright refusing a request is just as bad as suddenly agreeing to it. Besides, presently it's a harmless one." Rostron replied, Smith's eye twitching before facing Chris himself. "Whatever it is you're planning, ooohhhhh it'd BETTER be worth it. Otherwise I'll see to your punishment myself if this ridiculous little idea comes to be." Smith warned, his finger against Chris's chest before walking off.

"Whoo boy, he's going to be a tough one to cool down." Rostron muttered. Looking at the Captain and Smith's back, Chris scratched his cheek nervously. "I really apologize for the trouble. I expected things to get a little riled up from this, but I do appreciate the willingness to think it over at least." Chris thanked, the Captain looking back at Smith as well as he went outside and stood near the rail of the balcony with his arms crossed. "He's been wholeheartedly paranoid about this venture, so it's not like either of us don't understand why such a large scale disruption would cause him to lose his nerve. I can't guarantee anything, but again, we'll see." Rostron repeat, nodding at Chris before facing his officers, each one looking as unsure and unsettled as the other by the idea. "But to be honest, I'd say the odds are overwhelmingly against you presently. I'm sorry lad, but it's likely best you be on your way for the time being." he added, Chris nodding and bowing with another thanks and an apology before heading out, everyone in the bridge watching him leave. "Can change minds myself, should let me." Serenity muttered near his ear. "N-No, they have to agree to it on their own otherwise it will lose all of its meaning." Chris replied. Walking up to Smith, Chris offered a handshake, giving the Chief another apology as well only for the old man to grunt in response, keeping his gaze focused on the sea. Telling him and the girls to be on their way as well in response, Chris gave the Chief a bow and had the girls do the same before heading down the stairs. Glancing at their backs, the Chief raised an eyebrow before letting out an irritated sigh and shaking his head, the Captain walking out from the bridge and patting Smith on the back. "He's surprised this ship before. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but maybe it couldn't hurt honoring his request nonetheless. Come back into the bridge Smith, we can take our time reaching an agreement. Plus we've all still got our share of work to do." he reminded, the Chief glancing at him before nodding and heading back inside. Facing Chris and the girls as they went further and further down the stairs back to the decks, Rostron let out a "whoo boy" kind of sigh, shaking his head before returning to the bridge himself.

"I'm telling you, should let me control minds." Serenity scowled, crossing her arms in irritation over Chris taking the difficult route. "It's not right. I'd never let you manipulate anyone like that. It's like I said, this is something they have to agree with on their own otherwise it has no meaning." he reminded. "Th-That was nerve wracking. I thought they were gonna send us flying over the balcony." Rose muttered, letting out a sigh of relief as if she were the one who just stood before the men doing the talking. "Well, I'll admit you kept your composure rather well." Alicia shrugged before feeling the chill in the air and returning inside his clothes once again. "Yeah well, it turned out alright in the end. It's like I said, I expected to cause some trouble asking them that, but it's still worth it. Better to ask than regret not doing anything at all." Chris explained. Once they finished climbing down the stairs, the group decided to tour the deck once again, and found themselves stopping in surprise when they discovered the pools had seemingly vanished, where they once were now covered by wooden deck with various chairs and stands scattered about. "Huh, that's weird." Chris muttered, the girls looking around bewildered as well. "What happen? Where pools?" Serenity asked. Looking around, Chris got down on his hands and knees and pressed his ear against the deck, giving it a knock and hearing a hollow echo type of sound in response. "The pool's underneath the deck, they've just sealed it up. Kind of like a hatch door or something I guess. If you look along the center of where the pool was you'll see where the deck came together to close it up. Must be an automatic kind of thing." he point out, leading the girls along and looking at the various rides. "If you look through the clear slides you can see they've shut off all the water. Plus it looks like the entrance and exit to each slide have been sealed shut by hatches too. That's some pretty fancy stuff actually." he told the girls as they let out "ooohhh"s in response.

"Well don't you two look absolutely adorable?" they heard a familiar voice say, turning to find Victoria sitting on one of the deck chairs with Sally by her side, the two holding capped cups in their hands. "You ladies have extraordinary taste. The style and color of your outfits match you perfectly." Victoria praised, Serenity and Rose jolting and facing away with embarrassed smiles. "He buy for us, want us to stay warm. Not get sick." Serenity replied, glancing at Chris with a smile causing him to blush slightly and face away shyly. "W-well, gotta take care of you and all that." he muttered, the Pokemon holding his arm and rubbing her nose against his cheek. "Where's Alicia though? Doesn't she tend to stick with you the same as these two?" Sally asked, tilting her head curiously before both she and Victoria jolt in surprise when the snake popped her head out from his collar. "I'm not one for chilly weather so I've been in hiding so to speak." she explained. "Aww, he's letting you keep snuggled up in his shirt. That's so sweet." Sally smiled, the snake blushing and scowling embarrassed with a nod in response. "A-anyways, you two been doing alright?" Chris asked, shaking their hands and smelling some of the steam from their drinks. "Oohh, they're serving hot chocolate already? I'll have to get some for us." he added. "Oh, we've been just fine. And we were surprised as well. It's refreshing however since things are cooling down more and more. Not easy keeping warm in cool climates when you find yourself at my age." Victoria smiled nervously. "That looks like one of the children sized coats we saw in one of the shops. It's hard to believe how wonderful an already astonishing Pokemon can look with a little something tossed on." Sally praised, offering to shake Rose's hand as the rabbit blushed all the more. "Th-thank you. Lots of Pokemon and humans have been looking at us today." she replied, facing down and fidgeting shyly. "It can be a little embarrassing, especially when Chris looks at us. But not in a bad way." she added, glancing at Chris with a small smile causing him to jolt and face away. "Q-quit saying stuff like that." he muttered, Victoria and Sally blinking at one another before smiling warmly.

"Such a relationship between a man and his Pokemon, for some reason it truly does feel touching when we see you together. I feel as though any other time it might seem or feel a tad awkward, but with you lot it's really an adorable thing to experience. You really do have an extraordinary relationship, don't you?" Victoria asked, Serenity and Rose hugging Chris together while Alicia slithered around his neck like a scarf once more. "H-hey! I'm embarrassed enough here!!" he panicked, all three smiling at him while Victoria and Sally laughed. "After everything you do for those girls, one would expect no less in return. You treat them as true living beings, rather than just creatures by your side for the sake of competition and self gratification. If only this world could reflect you lot far more often, it's be a much better place for humans and Pokemon alike I'd say." Victoria praised, nodding at them causing the group to look at her in surprise before smiling at one another. "Yeah well, it's all a part of experiencing life and all. Traveling the region. You meet new people, create a new family along the way too, and if you play your cards right do a little inspiring along the way. I've just been in it for the sake of seeing what's out there and having fun, everything else has just been a bonus basically that's just sorta happened." he chuckled, rubbing the girls on the head. "Do good in life, do what's right and good things happen in return. That's been my experience anyways. You run into a lot of challenges, some nearly impossible, but with enough perseverance you can weather anything, and it's even easier when you've got the best people, or in my case Pokemon, in the world by your side." he grinned, the girls looking at him wide eyed and blushing. "You see there? That's precious." Victoria smiled. "Kinda wish I was one of them." Sally admit, smiling at Chris before facing down shyly and brushing her bangs behind her ear causing him to smile shyly himself and glance away.

"A-anyways, we're just gonna be hanging around on the deck today pretty much. Go inside now and then to warm up. I wanna help these girls get adjusted to the new climate little by little as best I can." he explained, the two women nodding in response. "You lot be on your way then. As always it was grand to run into, or, rather, for you to stroll by us!" she laughed. "If you'd like some of this, I do believe they're serving it at the stands now too along with other things to warm you up." Sally point out. Thanking the two, they waved one another farewell before Chris and the girls went along their way, making sure to stop for a cup of hot chocolate for each to enjoy as they strolled about. Throughout the day, Chris occasionally glanced up towards the bridge whenever passing by, hoping more and more to hear the Captain make an announcement for his surprise for everyone only for the speakers to remain silent save for occasional sale reminders from the shops below deck and different events on the ship unrelated to his own. Eventually, he went towards the railing and leaned his cheek against his hand with a sigh, the girls looking at one another in concern. "Please, let me control minds?" Serenity asked with a sad look. "I hate agreeing with treating people like that, but you really do seem to have put a lot of thought into whatever it is you wanna do. Maybe... This once?" Rose asked, holding his hand. "Sometimes in life manipulation has to be done to get your way. Lest you're eternally walked all over." Alicia nodded. "No, it's alright. I was ready for them to refuse it too so don't worry about it. I was just hoping it wouldn't turn out that way." he replied, looking over the ocean. "Ya know, I haven't seen Dragonair at all today the whole time we've been out. Hope she's alright." he point out. Scowling in response, Serenity crossed her arms and was about to say something until they suddenly heard the speakers throughout the ship cut on, jolting in surprise when they heard Captain Rostrons voice.

"Your attention please! This is your Captain with an announcement for all crew and passengers aboard the Guardian!" he began, everyone on the deck stopping and looking at the speakers curiously. "Our apologies for the short and sudden notice, but one of our passengers, the very same man who provided us with an extraordinary piano performance the first night of our cruise, has offered to host a very special event for all on board, both those employed by Platinum Star Lines and those aboard as passengers honoring our maiden voyage! By his request, all of our crew will be granted temporary pardon from their assignments to partake in this event, and we hope to see as many of our gracious passengers of every class as possible partake as well. This is a special event for everybody to enjoy, and we hope to see you on the bow of the Guardian when it begins tonight at 2:30am! We are aware this is an inconvenient time, but rest assured this event is guaranteed to be well worth your attendance! Thank you for listening, and thank you for choosing Platinum Star Lines for your vacation needs!" he finished, the speakers suddenly clicking off as Chris stood wide eyed and frozen, the girls looking at one another in the same amount of shock while everyone around them looked at one another bewildered, muttering about the announcement curiously. "Th-they agreed to it...?" Chris muttered, the girls looking at him before jumping back in surprise when he shout and started jumping and dancing around excitedly, Alicia jumping away onto the railing nervously as various people passing by looked at Chris bewildered, some likely thinking something was wrong with him as he grabbed Serenity by the wrists and swung her around, followed by Rose then Alicia leaving all three dizzy and stumbling as he shout again with his fists in the air.

"C-calm down!! Calm down!!" Serenity coaxed with her hands out, trying to nervously catch hold of him. "Y-yeah! E-ease up a bit! WAY too much energy!" Rose panicked with her hands out as well. "This is so humiliating." Alicia groaned, sitting and hiding her face with her leaf as he suddenly hugged and kissed both Serenity and Rose, followed by Alicia leaving all three blushing and wide eyed, their lips remaining puckered as if still kissing as he took a deep breath and sighed relieved. "They agreed to it, they really agreed to it!" he grinned, doing a sudden fist pump causing the girls to smile at him in an "Oh boy..." type of way, slight sweat on their faces. Looking at all three, he suddenly pulled them close one by one and kissed them again. "Really LIKE this side of you!" Serenity grinned, looking him over and biting her lip. "M-me too. But it's a little m-much." Rose added, holding her cheeks as her face began feeling hot, glancing away with a shy smile while Alicia smirked and cleared her throat. "I'll overlook this invasion of space I suppose." she told him, all three watching as he slumped over the railing in relief. "Oh man, now I just gotta make sure everything's perfect." he muttered, raising up and looking at the sky with another grin. "They agreed, they really agreed!" he repeat in his mind, facing the bridge before hearing Chief Smith call his name, the group jolting and turning only for Chris to find a finger pressing against his chest, pushing him back as the Chief kept walking against him before finding himself against a wall. "So help me if you don't do something that knocks the socks off EVERY person in attendance I will PERSONALLY see you hurled overboard and left to freeze in an lifeboat for the rest of this cruise!" he warned, Chris turning pale and saluting wide eyed with an immediate "Y-Y-Yes sir!!" in response, the girls blinking in surprise from the Chief suddenly showing up out of the blue before hearing him grunt at Chris before marching off, Chris remaining still before sliding down and sitting on the deck with a sigh of relief as if it were a gun that had been flashed in his face.

"Y-you okay?" Serenity asked nervously, reaching down and helping him back up. "F-fine. Just fine." he assured, waving his hand before looking at the Chiefs back as he continued along his way, angrily muttering causing passengers to jolt and move aside, looking at him nervously and bewildered while muttering among themselves about his behavior. After this, Chris spent the afternoon and evening hours planning out the event, with the Captain sending his officers down to meet with him and discuss everything in detail. Although clearly concerned the majority of the time, they listened closely to every command Chris gave, following him about as Chris took out his Pokedex and brought up a hologram of the Guardian, pointing out who would be where, when this and that crowd should arrive, the routs they would take, even looking over the various screens full of notes he'd put together for added detail, and by the time all of his explanations were finished, the officers, although still concerned, had looks of reassurance on their faces nonetheless, grouping together and discussing his notes and orders they'd jot down, nodding and pointing out various locations around the bow as Chris stood with a smirk and his arms crossed, the girls looking at him curiously as the officers gave him a nod and tipped their hats before heading back to the bridge. "I gotta admit, feels pretty awesome being in charge like this!" he grinned, Serenity giving him a hug from the side. "I like male that takes control." she giggled in his ear, causing Chris to jolt and jump away. "H-hey hey! None of that now! Be serious here!" he lectured the Pokemon, only for Serenity to wink and pucker her lips at him. "O-oy." he muttered, glancing away embarrassed. "Still, I'm surprised they didn't get mad at you like that Smith human did." Rose added nervously. "W-well, that's probably because they know he got on my case. Probably felt like what he had to say was enough, not to mention in order to get here they had to cross paths with him along the way so..." Chris explained, scratching his cheek nervously.

"I'll admit, I'm on that humans side." Alicia point out, the girls looking at her in surprise, Chris giving her the same look. "What? You're getting in everyone's way doing this. It's only natural for those in charge to be furious and concerned over the matter even if you DO have the best of intentions. In their case it'll be troublesome if your plan is lackluster, and in my case it'll be outright humiliating." she explained. "N-not taking it easy on me, are you?" Chris slumped with a "geez" kind of smile in response, the snake shrugging in response. "Just don't screw this up and stick to your word that it'll be worth the time of everyone on this ship. If you want the attention of thousands of humans and Pokemon you'd best deliver or outright cancel your plan here and now." she warned. "H-hey, you could be a little nicer." Rose smiled nervously. "Yeah! Stop being stuck up!" Serenity snapped. "Excuse me? You two need to start minding yourselves when I speak my peace. When all one of you can do is fawn all over him and the other simply stands there with a blank smile on her face, it's up to the remaining member of this little party to take over the responsible position and keep all of us from winding up in a bad position because he took a risk without much consideration for how the rest of us could suffer as well if his plan flops." she point out, Chris jolting and glancing away. "Now don't take it like I'm upset with you. I'm just saying this is the second time you've planned something large scale and we've been strung along, with nothing but you telling us to simply go with the situation and no due explanation asides the bare minimum of what you feel we should know. Last time we broke into what you humans call a prison, and although granted it was for a good purpose, keep in mind everything we endured afterwards. This plan of yours could cause the same kind of trouble all over again, and this time you'll be dragging all of the humans working on this ship into the trouble, not just us, but hundreds, thousands of humans who need their jobs to live." she point out.

Listening to her, Chris faced down while Serenity and Rose glanced away from Alicia, this time keeping silent. "You're a good person, that's certainly true. You get excited for the simplest things, and once your heart's set on something you charge head first without hesitation. But this time I'm simply warning you to pull back for once and consider the fact you're putting what the future at stake for the humans working here. And in turn you're putting their families at risk too. So to avoid not only humiliating us, but preserving the lives of those employed here, you make sure you deliver tonight if you go through with this." she told him, crossing her arms as he looked down at her for a moment before nodding with a grunt. "Don't you worry. I'm gonna really blow their minds!" he assured, grinning and giving Alicia a confident thumbs up. Looking at him silently, she smirked and nodded in response before slithering up along his body and hiding away in his clothes again. "Now take me someplace warm. If you're dragging me out here tonight I demand to enjoy myself in the comfort of a cozy fire until then!" she told him in a muffled voice from within his clothes. Looking down, Chris smiled silently before rubbing his coat where Alicia was. "Thanks for caring..." he chuckled, getting a "Bah!" in response. "Seriously, you brought up something I needed to hear. That's gonna motivate me to make something great even better! And thanks for supporting me as well you two. She's right about me stringing you along. I guess you really DO have as much to worry about as me in the end. Sorry for not taking that into account enough, but please feel assured I'm gonna make tonight a blast!" he added, looking at Serenity and Rose with a smile, both nodding and smiling in response. "It okay. I not worried. You always do good for people, so this make them happy too. I know it!" Serenity grinned with a thumbs up. "Yeah! When you do things, it's always big! I'm not worried." Rose agreed, holding his hand with a nod. "Stealing my thunder again..." Alicia grumbled under his clothes as he glanced around the bow once again before nodding and leading them back towards their room.

For the rest of the evening into the late night hours, Chris spent his time going over his surprise repeatedly in his mind, taking call after call from countless crew members as well, including the Captain and officers who were all seeking further reassurance he had something grand planned, and planned WELL at that. Letting the girls spend their time relaxing among themselves, he did his best to keep his thoughts in order while handling the countless concerns coming through the line. Eventually, the time for him to return to the bow had come, and waking the girls from their slumber, he reminded them to layer up before they went out, Alicia dragging herself along and into his clothes once more to avoid the cold as much as possible. Making their way along, the group found themselves surrounded by countless passengers in the lobby of the Grand Staircase, all having gathered for his event and awaiting their cue to head out. With all of their eyes on him, the crowd slowly made way, allowing Chris and the girls to walk past. "L-Lot's of humans." Serenity muttered. "Yeah well, gonna see WAY more of them. This is just the first class crowd, and only the early arrivals at that." Chris replied while smiling and waving. "Th-They're ALL just staring at us." Rose whimpered, clutching his coat tightly while trying to hide against him. "They have no idea what's going on, so it's natural." he reminded, rubbing her on the head as they reached the stairs. Finding the Chief and two of the officers waiting at the Cherub, all three men nodded before heading up, leading the group along and outside causing Chris and Serenity to jolt in surprise. "Maaaan it got chilly." he murmured. "C-Cold." Serenity thought to herself, wrapping her coat around her body tighter and leaning against Chris with his arm in hers. Tilting her head curiously, Rose looked around, feeling the air with her paws and shrugging. "I think it feels fine." she told the two.

"Come along!!" Smith ordered, the group jumping and quickly following with a collective "Yes sir!" in response. Walking along the deck, the group saw a podium set up at the tip of the bow, with one of the ships spotlights shining down on it from above. "Everything's set up as you ordered." one of the officers said. "When you get behind the podium, you'll find a tiny switch on the mic. Give it a flip when you're ready to speak and you're good to go." he added. "Currently we're preparing all passengers and crew willing to take part in what you've set up. We can say a vast majority have agreed to attend, with the numbers still growing. Unfortunately some of our crew will not be able to attend as we have to keep the ship running properly at the very least, you understand." the other officer point out. "And you remember what I said. Make it good, or get ready for the downgrade of your life." Smith added, raising an eyebrow at Chris causing him to laugh nervously. "N-no worries." he replied with a thumbs up. "Very well then. Take your places while we bring the attendees." Smith ordered, motioning for the group to hurry along before nodding at the officers and heading off. "This is it, this is it!!" Chris thought to himself excitedly with a wide grin on his face. Having Serenity and Rose stand at his sides, he took his place behind the podium and looked around, holding his hand up to block the spotlight while squinting his eyes at the bridge above. Suddenly, he heard a sudden burst of static, followed by several clicking sounds before hearing the Captains voice coming from the podium, finding a communicator hanging from the side. Picking it up, Chris tilt his head as the girls looked it over curiously as well. "E-er, hello? R-Rostron sir?" he replied before finding a button. Clearing his throat, he repeat his greeting, the Captain letting out a sigh of relief on the other end.

"Everything's prepared. I had one of these sent down as an extra precaution should you need to contact the bridge directly for whatever reason. I must admit lad, what you've set up down there certainly doesn't look worth calling the attention of all our crew and passengers. If this is a mere speech it could have waited for a better time and place." Rostron said in a concerned tone. "Ha ha. No worries sir. There's a little speech involved, yes, but something that's really gonna blow your mind afterwards." he assured. "Well, don't let us down lad. Before agreeing to your request we polled countless passengers and crew members alike before making our final decision. It was a majority vote between those working and those vacationing alike to see what you had in store. Don't let everyone's curiosity be all for not. Had the passengers and crew not agreed to it themselves I'm afraid Smith and my officers would have wholeheartedly objected, and I'd of had no choice but to agree since I've my own concerns about this. That's what took us so long to make an announcement for you as we had to make sure enough people would have had an interest in whatever it is you've cooked up. For the crew that cannot attend due to key duties on board we'll have whatever goes on broadcasted throughout the ship so none miss out. We'll be watching from the bridge, so lets see what you've got lad." the Captain said. Holding up his hand and squinting his eyes once more, he could vaguely make out Captain Rostron standing at the window of the bridge, waving at him from above. With a nod, Chris smirked before jolting when he heard the first crowd coming to the bow consisting of the crew. "Alright, first they bring the people who work out onto the bow, then they'll bring out first class and have them watch from higher decks, second and third class will be on the bow as well, with the elderly and handicapped..." he muttered, looking around while watching the crew organize themselves. Over time, more and more people arrived, crowd after crowd swarming the bow and the decks above until the front of the ship was packed to the brim, everyone standing together bundled and talking among themselves while Chris and the girls looked over the massive gathering.

"It's like the city's on a single ship." Chris muttered, Serenity and Rose stiffening up while looking at the endless crowd nervously, Alicia popping her head out of his collar wide eyed. "Oh... My..." she muttered, sweating slightly before hiding away in his clothes once more. "L-Lots of humans. Lots and LOTS of humans." Rose muttered, trembling slightly while Serenity inched closer to Chris's side and held his hand. "N-Not sure if like this many so close." she muttered in his ear. "C-Calm down. Just relax and enjoy the surprise yourselves as well." he coaxed, patting her on the shoulder and rubbing Rose on the head. Eventually, Chief Smith returned to the podium, looking at the crowd himself before taking out his handkerchief and wiping sweat off his face. "Absolutely frigid out here and I'm still sweating a pound off by the minute. This had really better be good." he told Chris before letting him know everyone was in attendance and backing away, he and several officers standing at their sides. "Hearing the communicator click to life once more, Chris got the okay from Rostron, the Captain letting him know 2:30am had finally arrived. Thanking him, Chris put the communicator away and took a deep breath, glancing at the girls and the Chief along with the officers before looking at the crowd. "N-Not worry. C-Can do it." Serenity assured him with a nervous laugh. "Y-Yeah. H-Have fun." Rose nodded, inching her way behind him while peeking at all the people. "Don't embarrass us." Alicia reminded, poking her head out of his collar with a scowl before ducking away once again. Smiling at them with a nod, Chris cleared his throat and felt for the switch on the mic, pausing to take another breath before flipping it on causing the speakers to come to life.

"Hello there, passengers and crew of the S.S. Guardian. My name is Chris, and I'd like to thank all of you for showing up tonight. I know it's an inconvenient hour and things are pretty chilly out here, but I've prepared for everyone a once in a lifetime event to go along with this once in a lifetime cruise." he began, everyone watching and looking at one another curiously. "On this night, one hundred years ago, the R.M.S. Arceanic and all her passengers and crew, were lost to the world due to circumstances never fully understood. However, although the ship itself is a legend all her own, there's another legend I want to honor alongside all of you tonight. And this legend, is Captain Arthur Henry Rostron the First, the man who took charge of the most renowned rescue effort known to man." he explained. In the bridge, the Captain jolt wide eyed, his remaining officers alongside him looking at the Captain equally surprised while the Chief and officers next to Chris looked up at the bridge. "On the night the Arceanic disappeared, Henry Rostron was the first man to respond to the distress calls of the Arceanic and pushed his ship, the R.M.S. Caterpithia, faster than it had ever gone before. Speeding along the grand sea at 17knots, way above what she was meant to handle. And this was a speed she'd never reach under another mans command." he went on. "This man threw caution to the wind and answered the call for help without fear, pushing his ship past the breaking point for mile after mile, around 60 to be exact, in order to try reaching the Arceanic in time. You can't imagine the remarkable toll it took on his ship, and his crew alike maintaining that speed around the clock. And that's why, on this night, at this position, at this time..." he paused, looking over the crowd. "I want to bring the R.M.S. Caterpithia back, and have her sail alongside our ship as we reach the site of the Arceanic." he told everyone, getting wide eyed and bewildered looks.

"B-Bring back the Caterpithia, sir?" one of the officers asked Rostron in the bridge. "I've no idea man. Methinks the lad may be a tad off his rocker. My grandfathers ship was lost years ago after his charge during the war, sank by torpedoes sadly..." the Captain replied, intrigued nonetheless as he and the officers stepped out onto the balcony to watch. "This cruise has been all about the Arceanic, but nobody has bothered to pay much attention to, or even care about the other part of the tale pertaining to the heroes who did their absolute best, willingly sacrificing themselves to try and save those on board the ship that night. All it would have taken is the slightest mistake, and who knows? We could have lost the Caterpithia and all aboard her as well. But the crew, and even the passengers who had been on her trying to enjoy a vacation, were willing to risk losing the ship and their own lives if it meant the SLIGHTEST chance at saving the thousands aboard the Arceanic. Crew and vacationers alike worked together to prepare the Caterpithia every second of the journey to make sure the ship was ready to take on board everyone who had been in danger on the Arceanic, and their work didn't stop until the very end. That's why the R.M.S. Caterpithia DESERVES to sail again alongside us all, to honor her and all aboard on this night, what's not ONLY the 100th anniversary of the Arceanic loss, but the 100th anniversary of the HEROISM of the R.M.S. Caterpithia and every soul on board!" he shout, the crowd starting to show excited looks and nodding at one another as the Chief and officers alongside Chris looked at him curiously and surprised, Rostron and the other officers near the bridge showing the same expressions. Facing their Captain, the officers chuckled and pat him on the shoulders and back, Rostron looking at them with a smirk before they all faced Chris once again.

"And so ladies and gentlemen, without further adieu, please enjoy this spectacular event, and if you would, kindly stand together with an honorable solute. And when you see the Caterpithia appear, I ask that all of you, together, shout out your thanks as loudly as you can to let the souls on board, and her descendants here on our own ship, know how grateful you are as the descendants of those lost on board the Arceanic for how hard they tried to save your families that night. Let the souls aboard the Caterpitia, and everyone working on this ship, know you're proud of them. Let them know they've no reason to feel regret, remorse, or anything of the like, and instead deserve to be wholeheartedly proud of themselves. Let them know YOU feel their names deserve nothing but your respect!" he smiled, looking up towards the bridges balcony where Rostron and his officers stood before having Alicia climb out of his clothes, handing her to Serenity with a nod as he turned, his back facing the crowd as he walked to the very tip of the bow and closed his eyes. "You ready for this Ninetails?" he asked. As the crowd watched in anticipation, everything remained silent and still for a moment, until suddenly a mysterious glow, an aura of gold, slowly began surrounding Chris and his staff...

As the light grew brighter and brighter, the crowd began shielding their eyes until Chris suddenly hurled his staff outwards, sending a massive blast of energy towards the sky next to the Guardian making him stumble back in surprise himself, and next thing everyone knew a colossal halo of pure white exploded into view high above with a thunderous BOOM, glowing brightly as gold rained down from the halo into the sea, and all of a sudden everyone gasped in awe and pointed as the R.M.S. Caterpithia sparkled and flashed into view, glowing brightly as it sailed side by side the S.S. Guardian, its halo maintaining its radiant glow above as a trail of gold and silver combined drift behind her. "I-It's..." Rostron muttered, frozen and wide eyed as tears welled up in his eyes. "My God he actually did it..." Smith thought, his mouth agape the same as everyone's. Taking out his Pokedex, Chris returned to the podium while looking at the time, and as soon as it hit 2:45am, he quickly put the device away and raised his staff again. "Arceanic!! We're on our way!!" he shout into the mic causing the crowd to jump in surprise as he turned and launched a massive blast into the air from his staff, the Caterpithia launching a similar blast simultaneously imitating the rockets the original Rostron fired to try reassuring the Arceanic help was coming the night she was lost. Watching in amazement, the crowd suddenly started applauding and cheering excitedly. "THANK YOU CAPTAIN ROSTRON!!!!" they began screaming towards the Caterpithia. "THANK YOU HAROLD COTTAM!!!" they screamed as well, who was the Caterpithias wireless operator and was the man who woke the original Rostron and warned him of the Arceanics distress calls. As the two ships sailed together, the massive crowd of passengers aboard the Guardian continued screaming their thanks to the various names of crew and passengers alike who were on board the Caterpithia the night of the rescue efforts, causing Rostron and all employed aboard the Guardian who were descendants of these people to weep and stand silently saluting in response.

Looking up, Chris smirked and gave his staff a quick thrust towards the Captain, sending a ball of light flying towards the balcony. Flashing in front of him and the officers, when they uncovered their eyes Rostron saw his grandfather standing before him, smiling and giving his grandson an honorable solute before slowly fading away causing the Captain to weep even more with another solute in response. Nodding, Chris turned his back to the crowd before returning to the tip of the bow, thrusting his staff downwards causing countless balls of light to fly all over the Guardian from the tip of his staff, causing illusions of relatives who were on the Caterpithia to "visit" their descendants in a sense all over the ship and give them honorary solutes as well, the crew of the Guardian taken back by seeing their deceased relatives yet enjoying the visit with pure excitement nonetheless, saluting in response. After 15 minutes had past, Chris sent another burst of energy into the air, the Caterpithia once again doing the same following through with the original Rostron launching a rocket every quarter of an hour until it arrived at the Arceanic site. "This is rather tedious, how long must we squander my power?" Ninetails asked, her voice echoing in Chris's mind. "Come on, we're just creating some simple illusions. Is it that hard to handle? I thought you were cooler than that." he chuckled in response. Remaining silent for a moment, Ninetails responded with a simple "very well" before going silent, allowing Chris to have his fun while the passengers and crew aboard the Guardian reveled in the extraordinary miracle before and all around them. Eventually, Chris went back to the podium and smiled at the girls. "So, wadaya think?" he asked. "It so pretty..." Serenity replied, looking at the glowing ship and the halo above. "This really IS a neat surprise!" Rose giggled, looking around at all the illusions of humans visiting their descendants and at the ship. "...I think you look like a nightlight." Alicia scoffed, pointing out how Chris was continuing to glow due to his use of Ninetails energy. "S-Seriously?" he asked. "I'm just teasing. You did good, you did good." she praised, smirking with a nod getting a smile from him in return.

Reaching for the communicator, Chris called for the Captain on the other end, watching as he and the officers returned into the bridge. "This is incredible lad!! How on Earth...?!" he asked. "Oh, I just have a way with smoke and mirrors." he chuckled. "Anyways, I don't think we're going fast enough sir. Wadaya say we pick up the pace and hurry along?" he asked, turning to the Caterpithia and holding out his staff causing the ship to pick up speed and sail ahead of them. "Don't let your grandfather leave us in the dust! This is a new ship after all!" he laughed, the Captain and his officers watching the Caterpithia outpace them and looking at one another with a grin. "Aye aye!! Arceanic here we come!!" he replied before putting down the communicator and instructing his officers to send out the call for more speed. Wanting to take the helm for himself, Rostron had Murdoch the second stand aside as he took the wheel, a wide grin on his face as the Guardian caught up with his grandfathers ship and they sailed side by side once again. "You do good. You do good..." Serenity praised, giving Chris a hug from behind as he focused on controlling the illusion of the Caterpithia as she looked at all of the excited humans. "It really is sweet. You even have those other humans appearing! Kind of like... Don't humans call them angels?" Rose asked. "Heh, exactly." he nodded, rubbing the rabbit on the head. Holding his arm out towards Serenity, he let Alicia slither her way across and back into his clothes, her now frigid body causing him to shudder as she coiled up against his torso. "FINALLY!!" she shout, enjoying his body heat again.

Nodding at the girls, he continued steering the Caterpithia along while Rostron handled the Guardian, both ships rushing towards the location where the vessel once praised as the ship of dreams... Vanished...

Pokemon - Tale Of The Guardian Master - CH 79
Pokemon - Tale Of The Guardian Master - CH 82
Some time ago, a young man named Chris, now 23, discovered he was chosen to carry a curse passed onto him through his bloodline by a Ninetails his grandfather saved long ago, having grabbed its sacred tails to save it from falling to its demise. Burdened with this fate, which the young man now calls a blessing, Chris accepts the life chosen for him and allows the curse to guide him freely in life, destined to forever put others before himself, to forever follow the path the curse guides him along towards those in need most...

Along his journey thus far, Chris has come across a Ralts who was abandoned by her former trainer for being blind, hurled off the edge of a cliff and left to die that has since evolved into a full fledged Gardevoir by his side, swearing her life to the young man with the mysterious and terrifying ability to use the power of a Shadow Pokemon, granting her the title of a mysterious new Shadow Hybrid... Also traveling by his side is a Snivy who has since become a Servine, abandoned by her former trainer for refusing to evolve after a terrifying battle she had with a Serperior that left her mentally scarred, resulting in her former trainer neglecting and starving her in an attempt to persuade her to evolve, until he finally left her to die as well followed by a Buneary who has since evolved into Lopunny, who's former trainer became enraged due to her refusal to battle and tried to kill her off when he discovered she could only evolve via friendship...

Chris has met many people and Pokemon alike along his journey, each left as inspired by his presence as the last... He's nearly sacrificed himself to save Gardevoir and Servine from a deadly attack by a pack of Houndoom, lead by a Mega formed leader by hurling himself off a cliff to catch the two and nearly dying... Resulting in his lengthy stay in a location called Millennium City where he provided a hospital full of children an awe inspiring play room full of wonders any child would adore... Saved thousands of Pokemon eggs from dying out when their colossal incubation system malfunctioned in one of the cities many centers, and it's the location he saved Lopunny when she was a Buneary from being struck by a massive truck after being hurled into the highway by her former trainer... He's met and inspired a kindhearted old butler named Gerald who served the group during their stay in the city, and even came across the mysterious N from the Pokemon series, inspiring even this strange person during his stay in the city resulting in Chris being deemed a man worthy of keeping an eye on...

Most recently, Chris had become a criminal during his efforts to free Lopunny from her former trainer altogether, having forced his way into the city's top prison the man was held within and taking not only the Pokeball belonging to Lopunny, but taking all of his other Pokeballs to free the Pokemon within them as well only to discover the mans father was the Warden of that very prison in the process. Finding himself intrigued by Chris, the Warden gave him a chance to avoid prison time by revealing he was also the city's Gym Leader, striking a deal that if he won he would be pardoned of all crimes and allowed to leave the city.

Before the day of the match arrived, Chris found himself becoming close friends with the city's top scientist, Professor Rose, and together along with her staff they managed to complete Project Celebi, a device that could transplant sight between two people without surgery! The project turned out to be a success after Chris offered the sight in his left eye to give Gardevoir the ability to see the world for the first time via her right!

After this, the time for his showdown with the Warden arrived, and after a lengthy two part battle, Chris turned out the victor with the support of all those attending the event and beyond... To thank them for fighting for his sake, Chris gave Gardevoir, Servine, and Lopunny their own unique names, gaining the titles Serenity, Alicia, and Rose respectively, with Lopunny being named after the professor who had done so much for the group during their stay in the city...

Now, after regaining his freedom and spending a week at Arthur and Angela's massive manor on the outskirts of the city, Chris has finally bid everyone a fond and tearful farewell, having set sail across the sea as a first class passenger aboard the brand new S.S. Guardian, the first pollutant free ship in the world relying solely on solar power reservoirs currently making its way along its maiden voyage on a seven day trip to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the loss of the legendary R.M.S. Arceanic, the unsinkable ship that mysteriously vanished without a trace after messages calling for help were sent one fateful night long, long ago...

The best part of this chapter for me was this part,

"If I say you mine, then that make you mine. Need another lesson?" she asked, suddenly giving him a dark grin causing Chris to turn pale and rapidly shake his head. "N-no ma'am." he replied, Serenity nodding with a "good!" in response, giggling as she walked onward.

I'm sorry but...I'm at a loss for words...but...That. Was. Awesome! :D

I had chills all the way reading the last part alongside the LWR xD

Although, I thought the part with Chris getting a certain...view of Rose, was pretty amusing hehehe and the way she reacted so embarassed, loved it and thought it was rather cute and...well...lets keep it at that :p

Pic suggests the Titanic.
Unknown to most peop, the upper class passengers attacked, killed and ATE the lower class passengers and painted pentacles on the deck floor, admidst all the corpses. That and the drunken orgy that followed disgusted Satan so much that he sank the ship !

Actually it's the Carpathia in the picture.

Great Chapter with an awesome finale! Chris got considerable headwind, I seriously thought for a moment that he would end up improvising an alternative plan for his event. Luckily he could make his plan real. I’m excited to see what you have planned for the main event of the S.S. Guardian. Because I don’t know what to expect, anything can happen! And I don’t mean that I have only spectacular events in mind, maybe it’s an emotional respectful memorial ceremony.

As one might expect, Alicia has skilled abilities, after all the training with her previous trainer. Mixing probably the best energydrink you can imagine. One statement of her made me curious:
Not all can, only smart ones like yours truly. Mainly... I believe you humans call us grass types?

Does that mean there are Pokemon comparable to Animals, driven by instincts and take commands at most? Or is it just her normal attitude looking down on Pokemon form other types?

Good chaoter. And i will admot his surprise certainly...came as a surprise. Not what i was expecting.
Still surprised the Captain agreed to it though. The poll was a nice touch. Still would have thought he wouldn't agree to it without being told ahead of time what it was, surprise or no.

He has his piano performance and his records relayed through the news and Angela combined to thank for the approval. He may not know the most about Chris, but he knows enough that if he say's he's got a worthwhile surprise in store, it's best to go with your curiosity and see what's in store.

Granted you have to keep in mind how against it Smith was nonetheless. It was far from a unanimous "lets just do it!" vote from everyone. There was hesitation throughout the event up until it finally came to fruition.

Heh, oh i know. I would have had a much more vocal complaint about "Mary Sue"ness otherwise. You did do it well. Just still would have thought he'd at least want to know ahead of time before agreeing.

Well, think of it this way. If it flopped, he'd of been flung into a lifeboat. lol
