Made me think of rootin' under the eaves -which my mother did NOT allow. Even when she was in the hospital with a terminal illness , I sorted but did not throw out - lest she, somehow getting well enough to come home ,and, despite impaired senses, detect something awry. When she died , I was able to start culling. It took me 1 1/2 years to clear out the stuff !
