Kurt Hauser's trusted second in command. Although of noble birth, is a member of the mostly working class SS. Despite this, and his loyalty to the cruel and heartless Hauser, he has a weird sense of personal honor and habors secret doubts about the Nazis' racial ideals, which he keeps to himself. Nevertheless, he is still an SS officer which means he can be cold, callous and cruel, with his aristocratic upbringing making him even more arrogant and entitled than most other officers.
