Apparently, I'm doing this now! Did not expect to actually color this today. Didn't expect to finish this today if I even did work on it, but HERE WE ARE.
Really text-heavy page, but whatever.
I have so been waiting for this! Well, the last panel of the last page, too, but I've really been waiting for panel two of this page. I love Knux there. His thought process: "A...female...echidna...? A...a female echidna...but there...but I'm...this has to be a trick!" Heh, honestly, we saw it in Sonic Chronicles when he met Shade too, but it's still made of win.
Okay, here's where it's gonna get real obvious. I haven't been doing Ki with eye-shines, but Knux and everyone else'll have them. She hasn't acted too obviously upon it yet, but she's hella in shock. It hasn't been explained in the comic yet, but she did just fall of the Egg Carrier. Actually, she's in really, really good shape for that. She should at least have some broken bones and internal bleeding. Maybe the Emerald fixed that when it transformed her. Maybe that's why it transformed her, I dunno. Those Chaos Emeralds are always doin' crazy shit.
Anyway, Ki's eyes look weird, cuz she's in shock. And Knux is awesome.
