I don't think people mean to correct her in a manner of annoyance but rather they are trying to educate her to help her progress her understanding of English. It's also sometimes difficult to interpret these errors at first due to the lack of audible tone in any sort of text format.
I too think that minor grammatical/expression errors are also cute when English is not the first language of the speaker. I work with a lot of Spanish-Colombian people at my full time job and I've come to adore their lingo.
That being said, there are people out there who are just plain rude and don't respect or understand the fact that learning English as a second language is actually pretty difficult due to the extreme variation of grammatical formatting. Not to mention that she's probably learned most of her English from exposure rather than professional lessons.
