I had thought about asking for a 3D model of Salmy for a while, but most of the 3D artists out there charge way too much more for what I'm willing to pay for a model that most of the time is great, and is worth every penny because I know how much work it takes, but you all know what's my kind of thing. Too-close realism is not as much as a good toony style, so when I found smashingrenders after seeing his art in
's avatar I knew what I wanted for my first 3D model!
Besides, it was really good-priced and, what's more! There's an option to get the blender file so if you want to play with your model, you can! Now I got it in a folder so theoretically I can do it in every position I want, with the expression I like the most too, but now the problem is... I'M STILL NOT AN ARTIST, so it's like if you give me a pencil. I will be like 'aaaaah, cool! got a tool to draw with!' but I still lack of talent -.-
Not this pose's case! The artist not only made the base model, but also put him in the pose I wanted him to. Literally I told him 'I want him to be like 'heeeeey, baby!' with his fingers pointed at the camera, and... well, the result couldn't be better, really!
I will be asking him for more poses in the future, and whenever I have time (that is, never) I'll try to learn enough of Blender to try to do something with him. Anybody around who knows it willing to give me some tips? I'm a fast learner :D
La verdad que la pose es buenísima x3 Ahora que existe Salmy en 3D... ¿Para cuándo en la vida real? Por lo menos como en ese episodio en que Homero Simpson aparece en la vida real (?
