Wow I've had this kicking about for a while and it took me forever to get off my crinkly butt and get it done. But quite glad I did. As always with new species I'll first do a codex entry followed by info on this character in particular.
Hailing from the planet Yivalla the Yital are a mammalian species closely resembling humans. However Yital are as different from humans as their planet is to earth. While there are similarities, both worlds being dominated by mammalian life for one, these similarities fade away upon closer inspection. For one many of Yivalla's mammals are bipeds resembling a mammalian remake of therapod dinosaurs. As for the Yital themselves the trait which most sets them apart from humans is gender. The Yital are an entirely Male species.
The People
Roughly 30,000 years ago the Yital were at an advanced state of pre-FTL development. Their bio-engineering programs were directed towards making weapons for Yivalla's various nations as they waged ceaseless war upon one another. Finally a bioweapon was released into one faction's region with the goal of destroying them as a people. The Bioweapon altered the X-chromosome of all individuals rendering it impossible for two X's to fuse and thusly killing all females and preventing even the artificial birth of new ones. As is common with bioweapons however this one soon spread beyond the target zone and mutated itself now immune to the counter agent which was designed to protect the people who created it. Over the course of a decade every female on Yivalla perished.
In the years after this event Yital scientist worked feverishly to try and find a solution to their problem. Time and again they failed to restore full functionality to the X-chromosome. As their species aged and extinction loomed on the horizon scientist devised a solution. Once again turning to their bioengineering prowess they produced a planet later known as the Seeven Tree which produced Seeven and Seeva Fruit. Seeven were essentially a symbiotic plant which would drop from the tree itself and bond to a Yital host. Once bonded it would grow receptacles over the Yital's reproductive member and in the hind quarters. During the act of intercourse it would collect specimens from both parties and mix them allowing two sperm cells from different individuals to fuse and become and embryo. Seeva Fruit produced a nourishing juice which could be used to feed the young offspring.
Many were appalled by the very idea of engaging in such activity with another male even if it was to save their species however. Thusly most Yital rejected this solution. As time went on chaos ensued and Yital civiization crumbled. Only those willing to engage in same sex intercourse would go on to produce offspring. Thusly in this way the species was indeed saved though by the thinnest of marginss.
Over the next 30,000 years the Yital slowly progressed from a stone age state to the space fairing race they are today. Yital culture has progressed through many stages and lingered longer than usual in some of them taking it's time to return to where it began and then surpass it. But the Yital of today are a forward thinking species willing to greet outsiders with a friendly smile. Their primary exports are crops and various other feats of bio-engineering. Modern Yital cities are a sight to behold containing both steel and glass towers as well as stone buildings. Trees, and plant life of all sorts can be found throughout and the typical mode of transport is a hover carriage pulled by an animal designed for that purpose. As such most Yivalla streets are unpaved and grass covered. In keeping with this every Yital settlement is self sufficient for it's needs, power, food, and water. Given the heights they have reached now and the lows they sank to the Yital are indeed Survivors.
The Character
"Ok Finally doing this. Phew. Well first off Hello. My name's Jixa Jolata. I'm 22 and this is my introduction for Crinklz Galactic. Phew. Lets see where to start. Well I'm an art major with some interest in Xeno Anthropology. I like learning about other species. I work at a restaurant down by the space port in one of Yivalla's larger cities. I mostly wait tables there but I've been known to do some singing up on stage when we need someone. I'm told I have a nice voice. I really like my job. I get to meet all sorts there. Humans have been neat and a bit perilous. Apparently some human males take a lot of offense at being called pretty. Nearly got slugged for complimenting one once. Anyway as for why I'm making this. Well...I'm looking to connect with someone with similar interest. I've always kinda liked diapers. I remember not being happy about giving them up when I was potty trained at 6 and well I'd take every chance to try one on as I grew up. I don't wear as often as I I'd like though. I guess I'm a lil too embarrassed to wear out in public yet. And I know my outfit set didn't include me in one. I almost bought a pack but then I saw someone I thought I knew from work and panicked. I'd like to find a playmate or maybe a 'daddy'. Wouldn't mind someone with whom I could switch roles with now and again too. Species isn't really important to me but I would prefer a male. And sorry not interested in any human females. No offense ladies but for Yital you kind of have an uncanny valley thing going on. Guess that's the result of lots of generations of male procreation ingrained in us. Sorry. Anyway I suppose that's about it for this introductory entry. Until next time."
