Goldenrod was our roommate at RainFurrest this year, one of the pluses for this convention to stand in contrast to the wave of negatives that seem to abound, but more on that later. It was great to have him room with Hammytoy and myself, mostly because the three of us are courteous and respectful of each other, and also don't become jerks when drunk.. always a plus! Also, Goldie is just a fun guy to have around.
Turns out it was also his birthday during the convention.
