i been shiny hunting loads on pokemon since i haven't been rly doing anything else while i was resting, and i got myself a shiny deerling which made me wanna draw it as it's super cute >v<
Only shiny's I ever caught recently I long since traded away, since I never really used ghosts besides Mismagus.
I do remember the first shiny I ever caught, though, way back in Gold Version. Problem being, back then I didn't have internet and didn't know what the blue hell caused me to have a green Azumarill...

yeah it's a real shame u can't trade it up >n< i never had any shinies in previous games prior to oras, (i might have one on blue and i don't realise it) the rates where so high your chances of finding them where super lucky, so goodjob on that! i have like almost two boxes full that i caught myself in oras xD; i finished the dex so i could get the shiny charm. and it was well worth it. though the hardest shiny i got was a gastly i tried to hatch, (hatching eggs is horrible btw) and it took 1,100 of them. i was about to give up lol

I don't think Gen 1 had shiny's, since they didn't have color sprites, but yeah, Gold was both the first time I got a shiny and the first time I got the Pokerus, and I had no damn idea what either one was

no they didn't have shiny's in the first game however i heard of people transfering them to gold/silver/crystal and some or one of them being a shiny. but i haven't seen it for myself so i don't know if it's a myth or not. ah yeah i looked it up aparently a pokemons shiny chance is based on it's iv's in gen I and II so yeah trading one from blue to silver could end up shiny.
