Corhall’s Data and Rules

A chapter for those interested in submitting a character for Corhall Hive, as well as general knowledge data and other such things. You can very well skip this, but it is recommended that you check it out!

Species:

Corhall Hive is a story with a very limited selection of species. Does this mean you can only select a very few type of bugs? Not really, but you can ONLY select bugs. True that the ‘Terranids’ in this story aren’t insects per se, not in the usual sense of the word anyway, but you won’t see dragons, reptiles, mammals or any other species that we see in most other furry stories. If you do not like buggies, you cannot play in here.

Possibility? Plant anthropomorphs. While Corhall is mostly a bug world now, plants are very intelligent now, and the remains of humans were absorbed a long time ago. Modern ‘internet’ underground is capable thanks to a supercomputer that is, in fact, a large plant that has a humanoid body and has a lifespan similar to that of a Terranid, with another one of her species most probably due for before she expires. It is complicated and will be developed further in the story, but do have it in mind if you wish, though it is not a sure thing that they will appear as a choice, and only part of the folklore and such.

Sexual allowance:

In case this wasn’t obvious, there are four different sexes allowed: Males, Females, Shemales and Hermaphrodites (Female). Though males do not work like they usually do, being able to get pregnant, much like shemales, and they are what most would consider traps, you can still be a male, though the focus of the story doesn’t go along with them, but some could be added.

Do also remember that fertility has nothing to do with your sex, which means that a Queen can be Female, Shemale or Hermaphrodite, much like a Drone will be male, but Workers and Warriors can be made of all types, and males that still look strong (sometimes) are from the Warrior caste.

If plants are allowed, do understand that most of them will only be hermaphroditic, as it is simply an evolutionary adaptation that makes it easier for them to reproduce, whether they have human DNA like Terranids or not.

Fetishes to be expected:

This is a VERY quick list about what to expect when it comes to some of the fetishes you may find in this story.

Incest, rape, abuse, slavery (to an extent), zoophilia, impregnation and more.

Possibility? Hyper/Semi Hyper, cock or nipple fuck (big maybe) and many others, depends on a few things.

Prohibitions:

There are a few things that aren’t going to happen in this story, like many others. In some cases it will be because, while Terranids are augmented humans, you can’t do certain shit, because it wouldn’t work, while in others it is just my own damn preference when writing this story. If you like these kinks, and want to see them in this story,  you are out of luck.

Vore/Conjoining/Merging/Absorption/Digestion/Etc: Vore is a big fucking ‘No’ on my part, so don’t count on it, ever. I may do some soft vore for some of my friends once every fucking blood moon, so forget it. Conjoining or Merging? There COULD be some cases in which a Terranid is in fact two, who knows? Despite the ‘upgrade’ to human genetics, which was substantial, not every kink was sorted out, so from time to time you can have two people in one body (With four breasts, two cocks or other such things happening too!), but you better have a nice design, character, background and general idea, or it won’t happen. Now, for absorption? No :3.

Scat/Watersports/Similar body fluids/Waste related stuff: Let me be direct with you on this: This. Isn’t. Going. To. Happen. Have a nice day :3.

Babyfur/Cub/Underage/Etc: Nothing against those that like babyfur, and I can, and have, worked with cub or ‘loli’ stuff, these are FANTASIES after all, no real people, thus we don’t hurt anyone (Except someone’s sensibilities, and if they don’t like it, they can go away), but this story won’t have any of that. You won’t find anyone parading like a kid, that and pregnancies, and growth, are usually quick, with very few ever going the normal route anymore, in fact it would be VERY rare to see anyone growing at what the humans would consider a ‘normal pace’. For this reason, and because I want this story to be aimed to just adults and with a certain goal, no one will be under the legal age.

Mutilation/Abrasions/Murder/Etc: Terranids are hardy bastards, and they have both internal skeleton and external chitin/skin/rubber like material, their muscles and flesh are also at least twice to ten times as tough as humans once were (which is nothing compared to most plants and modern insects, so they are good, but not THAT good). Mutilation is practically impossible, and highly frowned upon because it takes a lot of time to regrow an arm, leg or even an abdomen, while Abrasions are literally prosecuted since fire causes smoke, and Terranids can get really fucked up since they absorb air through their whole bodies partially, much like normal insects. Murder? Murder is a hassle. It is hard to kill someone and modern medicine, as well as certain bioengineered upgrades in every Terranid body, can get them back up after a few months, so killing someone only means you are going to prison for a long time for fucking up and because you are beyond stupid.

Macro/Extreme muscles/Extreme fat: I like muscles, I am a dude that LIKES muscular  girls and round girls ^^ I also like girly boys because I like femininity, in the guys I look at. Do you see where I am going with this? I like hyper stuff, as in large tits, cocks and such, and I will roll with muscular girls, round girls and the like, but I do not enjoy Macro, Extreme Muscles and much less Extreme Fat. Not only that, but genetically speaking Terranids would be unable to be truly massive because they do NOT have the space to do so underground, and too much muscle or fat would make their continued work night impossible. So yeah, I like big, but don’t fucking overdo it because that character won’t appear if you do.

No drugs in general: Bugs don’t do drugs, and that is because they get really fucked up thanks to them. I don’t like drugs in general, and while I respect those who like their thing, much like with those that are religious or have a different political view, I won’t implement them in my story. One reason is because I simply do not find it sexy in any way, shape or form, and another is because personal reasons beyond simply not liking them. If you want your character to have this kink, you aren’t going in, period.

For any other possible information about what is accepted or not, please do send an email asking for details about specific ones.

Culture:

This age has a very different rule list than what we are used to: Those that are better, rule, those that aren’t do what they can. This is no survival of the fittest, but it IS an effective society in all. If you have no aptitude for crafting medicine or for applying it, you won’t be a medic or anything similar, no matter if your family is the one ruling: You either know what the fuck you are doing or you don’t do it, period. And what if you get a job and you only screw up? Once you are caught, and you’ll be, forget about doing it ever again, because you’ll have a blacklist so large that you may very well end up only being able to be a servant, with luck.

Law is made with no distinction to position, a difference from human times: If you do something bad, you’ll get buttfucked for it, hard. While sex is pretty common and many old taboos are not around anymore, as there is no point to them to say the truth, many things are heavily regulated, such as the Swarms and the ruling family. If anyone wants to make a Swarm to show they are more capable than the ruling family, they can, but doing so without the proper channels usually means that some independents are usually doing something they shouldn’t, while the ruling families SOMETIMES have an asshole or two, so they are watched constantly to ensure only the best interest of their hive is in their minds at all times, just to make sure no more disasters happen.

Domination and submission do play a very important part in this new world, and it is so because the Terranids’ bodies changed over time to fit more to their new forms. The pheromones exuding during sex, as well as part of the cocktail found within sexual fluids, works in a way that compels the one defeated, or being dominated, to heed some commands they would probably be partial to, but not something as stupid as ‘go to the surface alone’ or ‘betray this or that person you care for’. Large families are common, marriage is practically extinct and fights usually end with a rough fuck or two, nothing like what humanity once had.

Most modern technology is biological in nature, meaning that the modern ‘internet’ is made of a massively large plant that works like a supercomputer; it even has a mobile body that is genetically similar to the modern Terranids. Bioengineered crystals are used to store images and voice, while most armors and weapons are made out as symbionts or with chitin and other wild insect parts. Purely mechanical technology is rare, as metals aren’t used as commonly, but it is very well kept and pricey.

The coin Terranids use is, predictably, insect looking.

Scarabs are the lowest denominator, and they are also made of the chitin of said creatures, going from green to blue, yellow, red and purple (Worth 1, 5 10, 20 and 100 respectively). The scarab price has to do with the abundance of chitin in the large Scarab Riders, as they drop pieces of chitin regularly that are fashioned into little scarab coins, though red and purple are extremely rare and only found in old Scarab Riders.

Peacock Spiders, Golden Spider (Golden and Purple Jumping Spider), Jeweled Caterpillar, Orchid Mantis and finally the Moon Moth are much rarer currencies that are used for larger transactions (1k, 5k, 10k, 20k and 100k.) Most of these coins are made out of chitin from creatures found on the surface world, which means they are not exceedingly rare (Except for the Orchid Mantis and Moon Moth), but they are simply much less common than the underground Scarab Rider chitin that makes up most of the cash used every day.

Their denomination, going from bottom to top, is this: Gs, Ys, Rs, Ps, PSs, GSs, JCs, OMs and MMs. Most people use numbers, but some, mostly those with accounting jobs or people that are slightly snooty, prefer the currency denomination.

While they are mostly insect like (Except for plant based Terranids), Terranids do feed like the old humans did, meaning they are omnivores in their totality. Terranids eat the now very common bug meat of non sentient species, like the Scarab Riders (which is the closest thing to a horse you may find, at least in function), Titanic Caterpillars (Similar to cows to an extent) and other less tame creatures. They also eat many kinds of fungi, roots and drink water, honey, nectar and ‘milk’ that the Caterpillars give, as well as a mix made with Cavernous Apid’s ‘excretions’, though the most known drinks are simply honey and nectar while the rest of them are more common for the ‘lower class’ of the hives, thus hardly mentioned by the Queens and Drones or most Warriors.

Terranids are very capable of taming many species of insects that have moved underground or that are capable of living under the earth, some of which are used as beast of burden, livestock or pets, some of these creatures were also made by bioengineering. A good deal of these insects are large in size, similar to a dog, while others are literally as big as a house, or more. Many of the more colorful and friendly creatures are both pets and also sexual companions, as they may not be able to reproduce with Terranids, but are much intelligent than old insects and can either be willing or unwilling, depends on their own preference. Do understand that unwilling creatures, even if half as tall as Terranids, can easily maim their owners, so those interested in zoophilia must know very well where they are going and how much their pets like them!

Family relationships are common, and while marriage is hardly a thing anymore, groups are indeed seen more often, in many cases containing various, if not all, family members. Inbreeding is not a problem and it is treated as such, making it just one more kink that some people may be into, or not. It is not uncommon to be taught about sex within the family though, and most individuals will at least have one family encounter under their belt.

While domination is a big part of this culture, forcing someone into kinks they are not fond of, is not. Doing so will easily land you in jail, or it will at least push someone away from you. Respect is VERY important, and losing someone’s respect is a sure way to never see them again or having them actively trying to harm many of your activities. While it may seem not all that intuitive, it is something that is widely known and accepted, so if a family member is not interested in incest, do NOT try to force them into it, or you’ll be in trouble, with most of the community probably shunning you from forcing someone into something they did not want to. Only those with a lot of numbers behind their back have ever tried, with varying degrees of success, to force others against their will, and this usually ends quickly, and brutally, once a large combined force storms their bases or hives. Remember: Domination is common, but downright forcing others to do what they despise is inhumane, and is paid back in full force.

Submission as a part of the culture is also important: Going against the law, or being dethroned, means that you’ll probably have to serve as an ‘indentured’ servant for some time with no way out of it. This is to teach humility and usually the only way out of some troubles. In these situations it is expected of the one being ‘offered the job’ to serve their master in any way their master wants, unless it is something they would NEVER do. This little rule doesn’t count if the one serving has forced another into something they didn’t wish to do, meaning they would have no voice, vote or simply any kind of right, so they could be used in any way, shape or form without the ‘offender’ being punished for it. When this is a punishment by law, instead of being a true job, or the task to be endured if dethroned, you can very well expect to be used and abused in as many ways as you have done to others, and this is made very clear in the known laws.

Biotechnology:

Biotechnology was developed long after the fall of humanity, its original date is unknown, but it was already an infant project that had advanced enough to save humanity thanks to the modification of their genetic material. Over the years the biotech was perfected and it allowed for certain creations that are quite common nowadays. Some general developments are:

Plant Based Biotech (PBB): This means everyday things that range from phones to computers, as well as the Mother Supercomputer that was recently made to create the Terranid version of the Internet. You can find almost any machine created with steel like vines, roots and leaves, being programmed thanks to specific breeding programs so they have ‘buttons’ (bulbs) that trigger certain actions. The more complex biomachines have large keyboards that allow to input complex commands, much like the machines from the old world, allowing for long range communication, train systems and more.

While things like automobiles are a no go, much like planes or other such things, they could be developed if the surface was ever retaken, but in modern times they aren’t useful, nor are they needed, as walking, or flying by your own means, is equally effective. In the same way internal train stations with small variants of the long range transports have substituted the public transportation used in the old world, being both free, clean and fast.

A good deal of buildings are no longer made of stone, though they are still made like that in some areas, but instead grown. While brown is common underground, thanks to the modified plants’ needs being different than surface plants, you could easily find very colorful buildings with incredible patterns, all of them being ‘constructed’ with certain pigmentations given to the plants during their growth. This also means that fire is banned for a reason, not just because of the smoke: Almost everything is a plant.

Insect Breeding Program:  Many tame insects have been bioengineered too. From pets to livestock, a good deal of them are either natural mutants, or they have been mutated or ‘evolved’ thanks to Terranid involvement. They are oftentimes ‘cute’ looking, trying to emulate the feel of company animals of old, in some cases being truly evolved from surviving dogs, cats and other creatures that were later injected with the ‘cure’ that turned the humans into Terranids.

These ‘pets’ are not completely sentient, so they are still ‘animals’, but they are more than intelligent enough to know if they want to allow someone to have sex with them or not, as well as battle capable, and comparatively as resilient and strong as a Terranid, with certain modifications that allow them to be mutated for better battle capabilities if they are in a Swarm.

While cattle have the usual animal rights carried over time, pets are more intelligent and thus have their own set that includes the ‘No force rule’. While rape is a sign of domination, trying to force yourself on an augmented insect usually ends with your gonads chopped off, as well as with you on the ‘indentured servant list’, meaning you’ll get a few years worth of slavery on your shoulders if you are found, which is very likely since you’ll need medical attention nine times out of ten, with the leftover one having you running for your life.

Combat Based Symbionts (C.B.S): C.B.S are the engineered version of modern weaponry, as old firearms are indeed powerful, but even the smallest amount of smoke can be very harming for the Terranids, which mean that old ballistic weapons were dropped after a time. A combat symbiont is, however, much more effective and customizable in many ways. C.B.Ss are also capable of turning very small compared to their form during combat, making them secondary accessories and clothes that stay at body temperature, only to change into their alternate, and combat oriented form, during adrenaline surges and mental orders. It is recommended to wear no clothes if one is to use Symbionts, as, more often than not, the clothes will end in tatters, even reinforced ones.

C.B.Ss have three types: Combat, Armor and Shield.

Combat Symbionts are worn in your weapon arm as wristguard. These symbionts deploy during combat situations by forming a weapon, be it a sword, axe, spear, hammer, polearm or what have you. They are designed to grow by absorbing dead chitin or other components they take from the areas of impact when a blow strikes an enemy, evolving after enough materials have been absorbed. More powerful Combat Symbionts stop looking dull and unoriginal, and instead gain barbs, serrated looking tips and anything that their master has ordered them to grow as they gain the materials for it.

A secondary type of Combat Symbionts are the bow, crossbow or gun symbionts. They, of course, morph into what their namesake implies, but they require ammo as any other long range weapon. For this purpose the secondary arm of the user wears another Symbiont that is, in fact, part of this Combat Symbiont. That arm will have arrows, bolts or clips for the weapon, making a Shield Symbiont inviable since Armor Symbionts take the rest of the body.

Do remember that Combat Symbionts have limited growth, and you can only have one, much like any other Symbiont, so select what to evolve carefully. Long range Combat Symbionts have more possible upgrades, but only because of their ammo capabilities and needs, making them more finicky when it is time to upgrade them.

Armor Symbionts are worn as a secondary shirt and pants, as well as a tiara or glasses, all of them connected on the back thanks to small strand like cables that act as as connections before the armor deploys. Once deployed the Armor Symbiont shows its full form, which can be of various types.

‘Cloth Armor’, or very light armor that is hardly distinguishable from clothing, not truly made for heavy combat. ‘Light Armor’ starts looking more like a plant, but is still very light, at least this version comes with a head attachment that forms into a small helmet. ‘Medium Armor’ fully joins the pants and the helmet, but still allows for decent movement, though it fully looks like bark, roots or the like. ‘Heavy Armor’ is a mix of plant and animal (insect) armor, creating not only the plant like covering, but also a secondary, chitin based, plate over the rest of the armor. Heavy Armor Symbionts fully envelop the body, restricting movement in any creature that uses them.

Armor Symbionts focus their possible mutations gained by upgrading into tougher surface, more durability before they regress to their previous state to regenerate, giving part of their energy to regenerate the user or other useful features, such as enhancing certain capabilities. As always, it is important to know yourself very well before asking for your Symbiont, as you’ll need to know how you plan on grow them as well as which class you may want. Also do be wary: These Symbionts usually grow simply by feeding at home, but they do so very slowly, though they take away part of whatever hits them, so getting hit will make them grow faster… and hurt you.

Shield Symbionts have two types: Physical or Spherical. Physical Shield Symbionts can be small (buckler sized to round shield size), normal (Heater or Kite shield) or large (Tower shield and the like). These shields are not only very strong, taking a lot of punishment before the Symbiont retreats to heal, but they focus on the front, and they are also quite heavy, both before and after deploying, as they usually cover a good section of the arm (the bigger the shield, the bigger the wrist guard OR armguard).

Spherical Shields focus around the whole body, at a distance. This means that they generate a field around the user to stop incoming attacks, which in turn means that they are much better suited for long range combat defense, while hand to hand attacks will slow down considerably, but may still pierce these shields. These Symbionts have a big drawback: They consume a lot of energy, so they have little resilience and will crash regularly, but they also regenerate quickly, unlike the Physical version, meaning that they will go back online after a certain period of time.

Shield Symbionts can be upgraded to make them lighter (Physical variant), damaging (it will send weakening spores to those that hit them and are too close, available for both variants), more resilient (both variants) or capable of regenerating faster (Spherical variant). They only grow by absorbing matter that hits them though, so having a Shield Symbiont means you’ll get hit, more or less, if you want them to grow.

Memory Crystals: A recording device created with a plant matrix crystallized over time. The end result is a crystal capable of recording sound and image within its memory, but is not alive like any other plant, instead being generated in specific pods as nothing more than organic mineral. It is a widely used resource, mostly as personal diaries, but it can also be used to craft TVs and copied, so movies are also available, with specific plant based devices able to capture image and sound to then transfer to Memory Crystals that will load the whole thing and reproduce it in real time on said device’s screen.

Micromedics: Also known as ‘biologically grown nanites’, these microscopic plants are capable of help stitch together severed limbs, heal most sickness and even bring back people from the dead, unless the death is a natural one (AKA: Age). They were designed after mechanical technology was discarded, using the original nanite design on small plant life that was supposed to act as a future light source. Not only did this project help create some of the plants used today, but the Micromedics were a ‘happy accident’ that helped boost health worldwide, with only natural brain death being ignored by the tiny creatures. The only problem is that their creation was accidental, and while they are a happy addition to every hive, it is impossible to modify, or control them, at the present, so they do their own thing.

It is important to remember that the Micromedics are also the cause of the only known death due to violence in recent times. A fight broke out within one of the hospitals during the night, with a known and very brutal kidnaper that went against the rulers as the offender. Reports state that she engaged the night guard, a Drone that was getting some extra hours at the time since the hospital didn’t find it necessary to hire a Warrior, and slammed him into the medical ward. The offender was hurt by the Drone’s quick recovery and she started smashing the place, hurting some of the pods with Micromedics in them and splashing herself with the tiny plants. Statements from the Drone resume the gruesome tale, saying that she was ‘digested’ once the tiny creatures decided that she was neither hurt nor did she want to stop.

Micromedics have been under scrutiny ever since that incident, but it has been made obvious that the little creatures, while not sentient, seem to know they will be fed and cared for if they perform their task correctly. Experts say that the Micromedics that had their pods smashed found the aggressor to not be either mentally deranged or hurt, which meant she was simply aggressive and dangerous, thus they proceeded to defend the other detected organism in the room as best as they could, which meant simply ‘erasing’ the offending party.

Micromedic shipments and breeding grounds are strictly controlled environments, and anyone trying to steal them is punished with extreme severity, sometimes forcing them into permanent slavery. These creatures can be dangerous and lethal under certain circumstances.

Biology for Insect Terranids:

The traditional Terranids and modern ‘humans’ are a species of humanoid mammalian insects bioengineered to be the successors of humans through humans themselves. While the exact process has been lost and the originally technology forgotten, it is known that humanity was changed by modifying certain DNA sequences to obtain qualities of many insects by injecting a massively varied cocktail of insect based genetic material within every single human body back in the day. This was done to avoid certain death thanks to bacteria, gases and many other artificial agents created by the humans themselves.

Biologically speaking, Terranids didn’t differ from humans greatly at first, nor do they differ too much now, other than in the peak attributes they can attain.

Firstly: Terranids have much more developed eyes with a greater palette of colors present for them to ‘chose’. The white of the eyes can very well be blue, black, red or of many other colors, with the whole of the eye having the same quality. Not only can said eyes be a beautiful window to the soul, but they are also much more capable of adjusting to light, seeing with nearly no illumination and also much more resilient to damage, with the eyelids being covered in very firm chitin unlike most of the body.

That is another change: Terranids have a sleek and flexible, but very tough, chitinous exoskeleton. As a secondary skeleton, as well as Terranids’ version of skin, the chitin is not only tough, capable of ensuring fractures hardly, if ever, take place unless extreme duress, but it is also perfectly form fitting, in a sense. This means that it is very hard for the body to allow for overeating, breasts, gluteus and any other ‘eye candy’ material will always stay quite firm, or at least they would need no support, and it will become obvious when a specific body part is in need of care or extra training in case of some kind of decay.

This gave way to a chitinous version of hair that, while still looking normal, was made of different materials than what its previous iteration had to offer. Not only could hair be of any color, with certain treatment it could be as tough as steel, if not tougher, and could even be used as a weapon, though most still use it as fashion sense. It also serves as to show anger or any other feeling, sagging when negative feelings such as dread, sadness or the like are felt, and rising like if a cat was angered once those feelings turn to aggression, fear or similar, remaining ‘neutral’ the rest of the time. In some species the hair also helps make a hissing sound whenever someone is really pissed or fighting, most commonly found in arachnids.

Muscles undertook a drastic change as the originals were forced to be fitted under a new layer of external skeleton and the internal one, with a metabolism much more advanced and taxing than what most humans had, meaning that fat was quickly devoured alongside any other useful material, leaving only pure muscle behind. While this also meant that food was very important, otherwise a Terranid would last as long without water as they would without food, it simply translated in the human body being much stronger and tougher than it once was, giving the original Terranids at least twice to five times the strength they could have showed when they were normal people.

Said muscle grow also showed some ‘negative’ effects, as abdomens quickly emerged, much like wings, as well as a second or tertiary pair of arms, with only a scant few having more than a pair of legs, but not unheard of. While awkward and probably one of the reasons their bodies didn’t adapt right away, but instead took the next generation to fully accept, this brought many possibilities to Terranids and made the new species much more capable thanks to their natural dexterity.

Speaking of extra appendages: Antennae are not uncommon, but not every person has them. While noses are one of the few things everyone has lost, as Terranids not only breathe through the mouth, but also the whole of their bodies (thus being capable of smelling even if they DON’T want to), those with antennae are capable of focusing on certain smells, pheromones or other signals, usually having also improved hearing over others. Every individual may have a singular use for their antennae, but it is one of the extra parts that didn’t seem to fully translate from one iteration, it being insects, to the second, the Terranids.

Many, if not all, grew muzzles too, as well as large canines or much tougher molars. The cranium changed to accommodate a larger brain as well as to try to adapt to the original insect species’ diet, only for it to just do so in a partial way, with predators having molars for veggies and other such food, but also exchanging the front row for canines, while the vegetarian species only left the four teeth in the front capable of going through meat. Inconvenient at first, and a bother for those that have the complete opposite diet preference than what their species is telling them to eat, but nothing that was considered outright bad or harmful.

The last of the outward physical changes came to the hands and feet. While the chitin looks like it has joints (Mimicking them by color, not actually creating joints), the change did make most species lose either the pink finger, or both the ring and pinky finger over time. It came alongside losing the ‘lips’ (As every inch of skin ended covered in chitin), but unlike said lips, which were still there if someone smile or opened their mouth, these fingers were lost due to its lack of use in both the animal kingdom and the evolved humans. It took some generations to happen however, but by the sixth generation there was no new baby born with more than four or three fingers or toes, unless it was a weird exception that sometimes still happens once every few thousand or so births.

More extreme were the internal changes, those that brought the abdomen and wings on some species. These made sure to change the digestive tract to make use of everything in every meal, with the very small residue being brought out as just plain water with some minerals through the abdomen in most cases, while certain organs, bladders full of light gas that the Terranids formed, made sure that those capable of flight would indeed fly with great speed and grace. The abdomen was both necessary for the metabolism as it was for the new qualities that many Terranids found themselves having, which also included silk weaving amongst the flying and others that are too many to count. One of those changes was the capability of males and shemales to be pregnant through the abdomen, while fmales and hermaphrodites have a secondary womb within them.

Genetically, here is where things get rough.

Not only did humanity lose any kind of tolerance to alcohol or any other addictive substance they had discovered or created: The Terranids sound found out that almost any drug could change a person with a single drop. Not only that, but smoke itself could suffocate Terranids with frightening effectivity, while the smokes themselves would clog their lungs in less than a pack’s worth. Physically speaking the Terranids had the upper hand, but while they were resilient to bacteria and virus, as well as many gases and other ailments, something as simple as a drug or smoke itself could cause long lasting damage. Drugs quickly became a thing of the past, though sugar does have an effect that is similar to being ‘high’ on power and speed (not the drug) since the metabolism makes use of all the energy it offers in a very quick burst.

Another genetic change was how birth rates skewered themselves: Many were largely infertile, but not sterile, while others had a decent change and some, very few in fact, could literally breed with anyone, even those that were likely to never have a kid. This was easy to tell with how most Terranids would appear ‘normal’, while others were more muscular physically and some were just taller, slender, regal and very bright in coloration. This is one of the easiest way to tell Workers, Warriors and Queens/Drones apart.

Pheromones were something most humans could go their whole lives without knowing, maybe even noticing, but after the change it was something that came and decided to stay. While they aren’t as commonly used as with the rest of the creatures out there, it is easy for Terranids to know when something is ready to eat by smell alone instead of sight, and that includes things that would have no smell by human standards. In the same way the pheromones exuded by the bodies can have an effect on others, most notably when someone is engaging in sex in a way that tries to dominate someone else, partially enthralling the other party, something that became quite common after certain adaptations took place.

That adaptation, be it a ‘corruption’ of the previously human mind or just an advancement to do off with taboos and preconception, did come after a genetic change that started changing the Terranid mentality altogether: Males started turning, visibly at least, into females. While the sex didn’t change, the outlook did, and in modern times only male Warriors, and then only some, retain what once would be considered masculinity in form. This also hit its peak when shemales and hermaphrodites started appearing, with every single sex capable of mothering children, and only the female remaining as the one to strictly carry them, though this was offset by the fact that the exclusively female gender grew to be the one to have the best physical and mental attributes of all the others, something many take as a challenge to try and dominate them when possible.

This focus with power also came thanks to the mind developing very fast and childhood being very short, as one of the latest adaptations came in the form of fast pregnancies and equally fast growth into adulthood. Two to three months, with one month being the length of the pregnancy, is how much most Terranids spent as children, quickly morphing into adults. A desire to integrate in the hive and prove adulthood is usually strong, and while they require a few years of scholarship to find their place, they already form bonds by fighting, challenging others or simply having ‘close interactions’ with friends and family members, one of the reasons why sex ended its status as taboo and became an everyday thing.

Biology for Plant Terranids:

This section will be empty until further development is achieved. They are not incredibly (or at all) relevant for the beginning of the story.

Only data to be given: They are either artificially created by the ‘normal’ Terranid, or are naturally born on the surface thanks to fast evolution thanks to old human DNA being absorbed.

Possible species: Fruits and flowers most likely. May add more.

Swarms:

A way to know how good a possible ruler is, or just a way to use the people’s free time by having fun while fighting and fucking their friends? Well, truth be told, you don’t need to fuck anyone, but when it is a good stress reliever and no one finds it wrong to do it, why not do it? Considering a lot of people have very low chances of getting pregnant too, and that having a kid is not as taxing as it was for humans, why not? The end result and the overall objective depend only on the one that made the Swarm, and those that do not agree with it can, and will, leave when they desire.

A Swarm must be registered with the S.C.A (Swarm Control Agency), a neutral party that is located in every city and that shares information on a daily basis with a web not unlike the Internet, but that works in a different way. In this bank of information you can find the purpose of the Swarm (Security force, entertaining or many other functions) as well as their members. In most cases Swarms grow by inducting members via domination, but other times they join by their own will. In the same way members can leave if they don’t like what their Swarm leader or group members do, and no amount of pheromones will change that. Trying to force a member to stay with a Swarm makes them an outlaw swarm, and they will thus be marked with a bounty.

Swarms were originally created as a way to achieve power and test said power: If someone is skilled, charismatic or knowledgeable enough to overpower, outwit or simply overthrow the previous royal family, then they deserve the ruling position. This, however, was standardized quite quickly and it was made clear that only ONE Swarm can issue a challenge, as multiple families trying to lead ended up pretty much badly for everyone involved in all six recorded attempts back in the day. Doing a joint attack has thus been banned and it may very well prompt attack from different cities, but it makes things hard to control as multiple Swarms usually have enough bodies to protect what they have gained, which in most cases means that no one has been stupid enough to try this in centuries, as it would simply mean everyone around them, including them, would end up losing more than they would gain.

Swarms are also ‘ranked’; this was meant as another test to anyone whose objective was to take the throne of any hive. What it means is that a Swarm will gain ‘points’ by doing certain things, such as helping the hive, busting someone’s ass when they deserve it, going to the surface whenever it is safe to collect things, or any other work like that. Once S.C.A considers they have enough, they go up in rank and can recruit more people, otherwise anyone could try and make a huge group and march right to the rulers of the hive, kicking down doors and burning the place away.

There are no rules against being affiliated WITH a Swarm. Anyone that desires so, that is friends with someone in the Swarm, or any other reason, can help the Swarm, but cannot go with them in case they do issue a challenge.

It is important to remember that the Swarm will be COMPLETELY DISBANDED if the challenge against the ruler caste is issued and failed. This means that the rank is forfeited and every member must go their own way, only to be accepted back by their previous leader, searching other Swarms or just going about their day without a Swarm. This part is NON negotiable and is enforced whether the members like it or not.

When two Swarms challenge each other things are different: There can be bets, which means that the losing side may have to forfeit a member or something else from their group, something that the other Swarm may claim as they would any other person or object if they can afford it. Other times these are just challenges for points from the S.C.A, which means that the victor gains some, while the loser may lose some, not necessarily a thing that has to happen (No one can lose ranks, though).

A Swarm may own a building (or more, depending on rank) to call it a base of operations. It is not uncommon, but it is pricey, and in most cases no new Swarm can afford this.

The ruling family can have the information of any and all Swarms in the hive, but they cannot duel them or disband them themselves. This is a fixated law and cannot be abolished, otherwise all available effectives from other hives are to force said family away from its ruling position and have them banned from forming a Swarm or having any kind of power. Swarms were made to put the best people in charge, or to challenge the already ruling family to better themselves.

Story Focus:

Okay, after all of this, what is the focus of the story for those that may want to suggest a character? Why, CONQUEST OF COURSE!

Fine, let’s be serious.

‘Corhall Hive - Linza’s Conquest’ IS about Conquest, in the sense that Linza’s objective is to retake her home. Whereas humans, or many other fantasy/scifi worlds would have it as a planned out brutal battle, this world works in different ways. First: Sex is no taboo, and all the things we may find offensive or wrong nowadays are probably fine, in fact they are part of how society interacts. Second: Power is not given, it is earned, and literally raising an army is practically impossible, but there are other ways of doing things.

Sex is a focus of this story, but so is interaction and adventure. For Linza to do as she wishes she will need cash, a base of operations, to grow in renown, make friends and allies and show her domination over others. Hermaphrodite on Shemale, Female and Male (and other hermaphrodites) domination is to be expected, as well as fights here and there and other such things. This is daily routine, but it would obviously be horrid in real life to expect daily rapes and other such things, while in here it is common.

Do NOT expect simply sex from this story: There will be sex, but while it is a focus, it is not the ONLY thing going for this story. If you want to read, or participate to some extent, do know that you will have to sit through dialog, explanations, character development and more. There won’t be just ‘fuck and be done with’ chapters unless they fit the story at some point, which they may, but don’t count on them.

I know this is redundant, but I prefer redundancy to have you guys forget what is going to happen and make wrong assumptions, so here you have all you should need.

How to ask for a character in the story:

Be nice, or I’ll chop your gonads.

Heh… no, really, be nice, but I won’t be an ass either if you aren’t :3

Now, if you have read this far, and you better, I need a few things for your character. What is the easy way out? Ref sheet. What is the complex one?

Tell me their name, species, color of eyes, color of hair, color of skin (chitin or similar), species, age, sex, personality, background, number of arms, number of legs, etc, etc, etc.  You also must give them a work: Remember that Workers are fit for nearly all jobs, but anyone that goes for security/law enforcement will most probably be a Warrior, while anyone that needs more finesse or brains will probably be relegated to Queens and Drones since they are better suited for it (Not to say that they cannot have any kind of work, but hey).

If the description or ref sheet lacks something, then tell me, or I will ask, because if it is not complete I will not work with it. Do I ask too much? Maybe, but here, let me tell  you a secret… Ready? Okay: I. Love. Detail. Didn’t you get that? I love detail. I make huge or large chapters and stories because that is how I roll. If you lack that love with your creations, then we have a problem. I know some people will call me a hard ass, elitist or the like, but I am a writer that, while not official (haven’t published shit yet), has been writing for almost twenty years. Yes, not the longest, but I take pride on going strong at this since I was more or less little, so put some effort on your own creations if you want me to use them.

Remember to not make anyone too powerful or a doormat, I want characters that are at least slightly complex and won’t just fail, or achieve, everything with ease. If you try to make a Mary Sue I’ll probably simply reject the design and be done with it. Seriously, do not go there. On the other hand I do not appreciate someone that always fucks it up, we do not have a Team Rocket here. As said, make things interesting.

Accepted characters will have a different document for them. Do remember that I will not accept all characters, and not all characters will appear all the time, some may appear only from time to time even, so bear it in mind, okay?
