They are not her children. She will only has that one egg as her own. The other mareeps and flaafy's form a flock, a strong family like the real sheeps. Some mareeps and flaafy's are related of course, but you don't have to have a bond by blood to have a family. They stick together to survive and Poppy, as the stronger one (and the only ampharos) leads them to safe places
