I think the sketchiness is perfectly fine for getting everything done in a timely manner. You can always go back and "remaster" the pages once it is done.

nice work with the first panel, both with dialog and look. panel two is for me the best, sometimes lack of dialog is the best dialog and the expressions here are spot on great. real strong pause. panel three, a minor personal peeve with Alvin having the look of "dead eyes" four, again great expressions and placement. five, something about either Simon's expression or pose doesn't work for me, to me with his expression and that reaction he should be pulling on / into Alvin with more force, perhaps a more like a bear hug. or maybe soften the expression, I'm not sure. The finale is a classy finisher, a wide shot but with them pushed together in the corner and apt dialog. plus an overall prop's for keeping them consistent.

The closeness is realy touchy. you knwo when you pick up a comic in a store and flip through it and find a touching moment in it thats actualy touching? i got that feeling, you draw emotion so well.
