Sooo, for those of you who DON’T know the story; My husband got a Donatello Plushie, then fitted him with real leather knee & elbow pads & belt, then carved him a bo staff out of wood and even made him a grappling hook. Next, he hid the turtle in a new location each day. It started out innocent, in the fridge, in my car, in my lunch box, repelling off the kitchen cabinets, disassembling my sewing machine… but then it got a little weird. I would be in the shower, turn to grab my shampoo only to see a pair of turtle eyes staring at me, or find him nesting in my bra drawer. All the while my beloved swore to me that the turtle moved of his own accord.
So I figured 2 could play at that game! I went out and got a Raphael Plushie, got some darker leather, and crafted knee & elbow pads & belt. I also went a step further and made a mask & tattered the ends, cutting the shape of the eyes a little slanty so he looks more like he’s smirking. Those Sai you see in his belt? YES THOSE ARE REAL STAINLESS STEEL SAI! Hey, my darling made Donnie a real wooden staff, so I needed to up my game. Unfortunately, a blacksmith I am not. Do you know how hard it is to find someone willing to forge 2.5” Sai? Luckily, I found a guy who makes Sai for a living and doesn’t question the sanity of his customers, I found him here; http://www.worbingtonsteele.com/index.html
So, with my Raphie plushie properly outfitted, I place him in my husband’s underwear drawer and waited for him to come home. ….I am an adult, I swear!
the perfection is too perfect [repeat my comment on 'Raph and Don plush'] the uniqueness and quality of the gear and mask and sai... the SAI man!!! they're so cute!!! :D

He walked out of the room with a wide smile; "So Sweetie, I found this turtle in my drawer." "Really? Huh, that is so strange!" "Yeah, I dunno' how he got there but he seems to be pretty geared up for battle." "Wow, that is really weird. Maybe he came looking for his brother" "Ah, that must be it! Let's put them together on the shelf"
