Sita doesn't understand how a mind reader can be scared of monsters. Apparently monsters have special powers so Perfume can't read their minds.
Makes sense to me.
Perfume is the white porcupine she's pretty much Sita's adopted daughter. Shadow has no kind of relation to her at all. Calls her bug (him referring to her like when a room is bugged and spies listen to your conversation, since she's a mind reader he refers to her in that manner.)
Shadow is sleeping okay now, but 3 am he's gonna wake up with little white porcupine quills everywhere.
The lobster is Perfume's pet, apptly named: Kisses and her stuffed giraffe is named Klipper (the sound hooves make apparently, klip klip klip)
