Backing Track by Sound Choice Karaoke and purchased on iTunes. Original song written and performed by Mike and the Mechanics.
----- Dipper finds out that his father has been injured in Afghanistan.
----- Thurman's Cafe actually exists, but is in Columbus, Ohio, not Huntington. I decided to do this song as a tribute to Hollie Hyena's mother who had died about the time I got to this chapter. In addition, I didn't want to go from week to week to week of Rock Band Wars, as I felt that would get too monotonous and uninteresting, so I used this to help break that up, as well as other songs you will see later.
*Twitch* ... I suppose if you have a family that can accept your differences it would better to tell them everything about you for their advice and opinions, but in this world where teens are lucky to only have a broken nose after being thrown out over a disagreement of relatively small matters, I just can't say that this is universal advice.

Generlay I have to agree wholeheartedly with you PeachClover. Too many families such as you describe are infact the norm, which is a shame. I count myself very lucky that growing up I was lucky to have parents that were able to, and did, accept all of us 4 kids for who we were, I guess by todays so called "standards" we would have been classified as very disfunctional. But we were family and we made it work, now matter how much we might disagree. The things was that we were all allowed to have different opions and were allowed to voice them. My parents accepted alot about me along the way that wasn't considered 'normal' by most peoples standards then. But they didn't care what other people said and taught us to be the same way. Live our lives for us, and let others do the same. If someone didn't like the things you did or didn't agree with your opinions, etc. that was fine. Just don't let others tell you that you should do this or that. For that I am thankfull every day.
