This picture was based on a sketch commission done for me by

rickgriffin Used with permission.

Now me being a huge mass effect fan, I was kinda wanting to do a picture with me in shepards N7 armor for quite a while, but I always backed away when I realised how much effort would be needed to put such a picture together.
But when I read that

rickgriffin, author of the awesome webcomic Housepets, was doing sketch commissions, I didnt hesitate. Now I pretty much dumped that whole idea of my character in that armor on him and I wasnt sure if he would do it, since well it was just a cheap sketch commission.
But not only did he agree to it, he also did an amazing job of portraying the armor and weapon in the mass effect style.
I absolutely loved the sketch and almost immediately started working on a coloration.
It took quite a while to finish, with all the various pieces of armor and different layers of materials involved, but it was absolutely worth it.

Im a huge mass effect fan (Im still over joyed that the 3rd one is coming 030) and this is the best fan pic ever. Good Job ^-^ and I still in art training and this just WOW! sorry Im going all fan I just love this game (I also heard the go movie rights for this game)

AWESOME!!! Very nice and just perfect. I think this is a wonderful commission. I am also a very HUGE ME fan. I've been trying to get someone or anyone to try either some short-term or long-term ME rp's. But hey, it's all good! ^_^;;
