Casper "Zips" Monsolo is still a new wizard, however he's already mastered some spells and created a unique staff that has a few secrets. he travels the lands performing spells to vanquish demons and learn new magics. under his robes he wears a light armor that can protect him from minor damage. Many of the odds and ends that he carries relate to his magic in one fashion or another.

I drew this while watching Inuyasha and the same day my internet went out for most of the night. when i got this done i went to post it and the internet was not working so i had to wait until the following day to post it. despite the colors being flat i'm honestly proud of how this one came out. I don't want to go into too much detail about everything, like his staff, since i may write a story about this. as for the paint brush, i have an idea for that too but i figured to put it onto Zips since that story is also magic related. anyway tell me what you think

Not the Casper I know.
In my fan-fics, Casper actually eschews the use of magic*, and leaves all that up to Wendy.

I have to read my books page by page to list all the spells Wendy knows or has access to, from her spellbook. They will not be in any alphabetical or logical order, tho.

* As a ghost he has no "personal force" despite Harvey stories having him chant spells - to save Wendy for instance.
Your Casper would not have even begun being a wizard were it not for his personal force.

Wendy even uses special eyedrops that break lusion or glamour fields and show things as they actually are. That on top of the wand, the spellbook, a scrying ball, the broomstick,*

I wonder what your Casper or Gaspard uses. (Some of my characters mispronounce my hero's name - like Casperthy Frendligost)

* She did NOT start with all of these, but by one event or another, acquired such.

He can also use training at my Domdaniel in the Black Forest. It has to be approached via Widdershins Point or one will never find it. Beware the orms, too. Security is excellent and in so many ways. Best to ride the Coach with the Six Insides as the driver knows the proper routing.

I DARE not give the full spell lest havoc and mischief ensue.

We discussed transformation spells.
One which got alarming coverage in my last Casper(the ghost) fan-fic was the Unleashing the Inner Beast. The spell and its reversal spell was kept on the Restricted Shelves of Domdaniel Library. Purloined by Terry Belle and a friend when events caused the barrier spell to fail. It was shelved next to the Death Notebook.

Upon being recited for the first time in the girls' rest room, both experienced searing pain as they changed. Their clothes got torn apart and fell off as rags. Terry turned into a kangaroo, which identity she named Anthroo and her friend into a centaur (experienced more pain therefore.)
Reciting the reversal spell on the scrip, they felt little pain, but decided to doff their clothes before any future usage of the spells. They were seen in rags in the hallway and had to make up an excuse to an inquisitive teacher as to why they wore rags. They could NOT be making up excuses each time...

Terry's friend decided to stop using the spell after 3 sessions, but Terry could not resist the temptation and kept on using it. Despite warning incidents,(such as having to recite , at times, the reversal spell 2 or even 3 times repeatedly, and reversal becoming more painful each time, and becoming Anthroo less painful each time) and despite being finally detected and measures taken (spell scrip confiscated, memories edited) she still had trouble. There was a sudden deplorable transformation -spontaneous at that- into Anthroo at a prom, causing uproar. The trouble ended when somebody punched Anthroo in the chest, effecting the change back. In her Anthroo form, Terry Belle plundered the buffet table and challenged anybody to stop her ! Her prom gown was now fit only to clean a car with !

I fear that Terry Belle will change again spontaneously, and this time, permanently, her human persona subsumed into her pugnacious animalistic mental state. As Anthroo she has little use for magic, but relies on kangaroo abilities.

As this Jekyll - Hyde degeneration has hit too many users of this spell, it was confined to the Restricted Shelves of Domdaniel's Library.
