"MEEEEEOOOOWWW!!!" Sassy shrieked as she was hit with the water balloon that Chance just so happened to "find."

Chance laughed at her discomfort. The cat made a disappointed face as she heard the incredibly cold water drip from her body down to the carpet. "Just my luck," Sassy complains, "the owners are away for one day and I get to deal with a mutt." The Himalayan turned her head away from Chance... or at least where she thought Chance was. It was an unwise move considering another water balloon came hurtling at her from that direction. Sassy then had it and ran at Chance.

The dog ran out his doggy door and the feline followed, but immediately stopped when she saw water balloons lying everywhere on the front yard. After getting a clear distance away from the mutt's preferred choice of ammunition, she looked and Chance was sniffing at the air. Sassy watched as the dog ran and ran as fast as he could away from the house. "Hey! Chance come back here!" The cat screamed at the dog, knowing how much trouble they get in when they are not in their owners' care. When it was clear that the bulldog wasn't coming back she ran back inside to gather the other two pets of the household.

Sassy, Shadow and Delilah rush out and go after Chance. After several hours of looking around the town, they finally found Chance. When the bulldog looked at the faces of his friends storming over he tried to hide his head with one of the many sausages he had found and been eating.

"We have been searching for you for hours." Delilah stated while still walking up to the dog.

"What is wrong with you?" Shadow asked.

The cat piped in reminding the other two that "he is the same mutt that threw water balloons at a cat minding her own business."

Chance tried to explain himself to the others. After all, he was able to find the sausage that he was trying to find and he never asked the others to follow him. "Don't babysit me. I know what I'm doing." Chance told the others.

"You got us lost again." Shadow scolded. "I don't know where we are."

The bulldog looked left and right signifying that he didn't know the way back home either. He then looked back at Shadow and he asked, "How do three animals leave their homes and not think about how they are going to get back?"

The golden retriever stared at the "mutt" and intimidatingly demanded, "Lift your tail, pup."

"You're not my dad." Chance said.

"Obviously not. If I was your father I would have done this years ago." Shadow spoke through clenched teeth. The canine walked behind Chance and again demanded that he raised his tail "or else anytime in the next year when his owner would ask him to sit he would be whimpering."

Chance flicked his tail in Shadow's face.

The golden retriever tackled the bulldog down so that Shadow was lying on top of Chance. The young dog struggled to get the aged canine off of him, bu failed to do so. Shadow moved his head close to Chance's ear and slowly, dominantly said, "I will bite that tail off if you do that again. Now do what I told you to do and raise your tail or I will raise it for you." Chance was still diffident and shook his head.

Shadow slipped his left paw under the bulldog's tail. When the retriever brought his paw up he also raised Chance's tail in the process. "This should teach you to play that game with your elders. You should have lifted your tail when I told you to, pup." Shadow placed a large amount of emphasis on the word "pup" to really nail in the fact that Chance was the much younger of the two and was thereby the child of the two. From Shadow's large amount of experience with children, both human and canine, they needed to be taught a lesson when they are disobedient and that was precisely what Shadow was going to do.

"What are you doing?" Chance asked, frightened.

The golden retriever growled. It was at this moment that the bulldog noticed that Sassy and Delilah were still in his company. They both had facial expressions that screamed for Chance to shut up before the situation got any worse. Before the confused quadrupedal had clued in on what was about to happen Shadow brought his right paw down on the pup's rear and it was at this point that Chance howled to the moon that shined bright upon all of them. Shadow smacked Chance's behind again and again.

The old dog watched as the pup's butt turned as red as a fire and probably hurt not unlike a fire as well. Chance's whimpers and barks blocked out the laughing and giggling of the two females viewing the ordeal.

"Why keep a mutt and bark yourself?" Sassy laughed at the yelping canine.

Chance attempted to shout at Delilah to stop laughing at his red rump, but he couldn't. Chance tried to get up and run at Sassy to stop the teasing, but he couldn't. Chance made an effort to get out from under Shadow and show the opposite version of a whippersnapper what he wanted to do, but he couldn't. All he could do was wait for his long overdue punishment to end. But Shadow wasn't stopping any time soon. Chance's sit spots and upper thighs were not getting the elder dog's paw.

The bulldog's bottom received only the best of punishments that night... at least the best if Shadow, Delilah or Sassy were concerned in answering. The young one was spanked harshly and roughly so that he wouldn't be able to sit for at least a few days after all was said and done, but Shadow still kept going like a machine. The old and wise dog took out all of his anger and rage at being lost on the pup. The golden retriever might be Chance's guardian, but that doesn't mean he would go easy on the bulldog when it came to smacking him on his sensitive thighs.

Chance's cheeks were soaked in his tears as he continued to howl and whine and Delilah and Sassy continued to laugh. His other cheeks weren't faring too well either and Shadow realized this when Chance gave one final cry. It was long and sad which would be a reasonable account of what this punishment would be remembered as for Shadow if he continued to spank the young canine.

"What did you learn, pup?" Shadow asked while rubbing the puppy's rump to try to remind him of what would happen if he answered wrong.

Chance gulped and shakily replied, "I learned not to go outside by myself and to not disobey you."

With one final, yet strong, spank and one last long, but conclusive, howl the old dog ceremoniously got off his pup. He acted as though he was a knight that walked away from a dragon he had just slaughtered. Shadow was so proud, but in a short amount of time he was already thinking of a way to get back home.

Soon, after a few days, a man found the animals through missing pet flyers and took them into his car. The three dogs are were all safely delivered to their home and to their frightened owners.

"Thank goodness you're okay!" Hope exclaims at seeing Sassy.

Peter embraced his best friend while he shouted, "Shadow!"

"You had us worried sick." Both of the Seaver parents breathed a sigh of relief at the pets being found and happily pet Delilah.

Jamie rushed over to his friend and simply hugged him saying how much he missed his best friend. Later that night Shadow, Chance, Delilah, and Sassy watched the sunset.

 "It's beautiful." Delilah said, awestruck.

"It sure is. Oh, I forgot something." Chance replied. He then got up and walked away from the other three pets only to run at the mail post beside the animals. It then fell over and trapped the three pets that caused Chance to be unable to sit and enjoy a sunset or otherwise teased him. "You all definitely had this coming."

"Hey, you deserved what you got!" Sassy yelled.

"Probably but I still wanna get even." Chance said.

With that Chance copied Shadow's exact movements. He put his paw under Sassy's tail and raised his paw. He then began to spank the cat's backside as she begged for mercy after only a few smacks.

Sassy shouted, "Please Chance! I won't ever laugh at you or tease you again! Now stop! Youch!" Over and over again she would repeat the pleading. Sure it could have been sarcasm (at this point Chance couldn't even tell if half of the things that Sassy said on regular basis were sarcasm or not) but that gave him all the more incentive to spank harder. It was also a nice change of pace to hear the begs of Delilah and the half-begs of Shadow while he worked. They were both cute and desperate which was music to Chance's ears.

The feline was really dramatic about the whole thing. After only thirty hits to the back she was already at an almost identical spot that Chance was at on his hundredth. She was blazing red on her rump, but not even close to done with. Chance vowed that he would have Sassy, Delilah and Shadow whimpering, howling and yelping louder than a "pup" ever could. This was going turning out to be very fun. Sassy was soon sobbing like mad.

Sassy was bawling and screeching for the pain to stop as her red rear was visible through even her large and thick amount of fur. Chance then took a long look at the cat's butt and gave it a smack that whistled through the air and cracked as it found its destination. Sassy whined as she was the victim to that intensely painful smack. She then laid her head down into the ground to hide her ongoing tears. The bulldog then looked at his mate.

"You're up next, kid." Chance smiled and winked as he stated this. Delilah was more nervous than Chance had ever seen her before... it truly was a beautiful occurrence. Chance then started Delilah's painful bottom beating. Delilah blushed at first, whimpered secondly and thirdly yelped. By this point Chance knew how to make a good spanking into a great spanking. It was quick, but strong hit from his paw and speedy, smart quips from his maw. Chance put his hand up against Woman's bum.

The bulldog chuckled and teased, "Is this why they call you 'Hot Stuff?'" Chance continued with his spank of the second female ensuring that any movement from the waist down would cause pain. Girl was no where near as easy to make cry as Sassy, but with a small amount of elbow grease there was flood of tears that flowed down onto her once white face due to all of the blushing.

 "Chance, stop!" Delilah yelped.

The young canid laughed and replied, "Not a snowball's Chance!" The dog continued to spank Delilah's buttocks. He would sometimes stop and watch her reaction to the imminent mass of slaps to her already punished butt. Chance would give Delilah soothing rubs on her sitting spots to remind her of how much her mate still loves her, but besides that he provided the same experience as he did with Sassy. The punishment had to fit the crime and because both canines were guilty of the same issue Chance had to give them the same penalty. However there was someone who was worthy of a worse spanking...

"Looks like it's your turn, old timer." Chance said matter of factly to Shadow as he gave his mate one last final smack on her whimpering rear. Delilah yelped and hid her head just as Sassy did before her.

 "Do your worst." Shadow said.

"Whatever you say, pops!" Chance teased the poor retriever. With that the bulldog lifted the older canine's tail and laid waste to his hind-quarters. The spanking was fueled by equal parts revenge and enjoyment. In a matter of minutes Shadow's butt was as red as lava spouting out of a volcano.

The big dog yelled, "OW! OW! I didn't go this hard no you!" Chance was going to make absolute sure that Shadow would be reduced to a whimpering, moaning, groaning, grunting bucket of tears. The smaller animal simply laughed and hit harder.

"If you think that I just want to see you cry then you're sorely mistaken," Chance explained himself while he was smacking. "I want to see you beg and apologize for what you did to your master." Shadow remained quiet as he heard this. There was no way he would beg to a little runt like the tiny dog. However, as the spanking was made stronger and stronger by Chance's attempt at slapping a beg for mercy and a sorry out of him, Shadow was pushed to the brink. Tears were running down Shadow's face but he still didn't cry out.

Chance stopped for a second when he saw the tears on Shadow's face. "Holding in your cries will get you nowhere, old timer." The young bulldog added suspense into the equation by raising his paw up, but then only coming down with a small pat on the behind. This hurt just as much to Shadow as the hard smacks. The "old timer" couldn't take it anymore and bellowed in agony on the hard smack that the ruffian sentenced on him.

Shadow pleaded to Chance, "Please, I'll do anything."

"Give me a good ol' howl, beg, and apology," Chance demanded. "Let me help you with the first." Chance then raised his paw up and came down on the vulnerable rear that belonged to Shadow. The golden retriever howled, contorted and cried out. Tears clouded the old canine's vision and he was akin to a big, soft, soaked sponge.

"OOOOOWWWWW!!! I'm so sorry! I won't spank you again, Chance! I promise never to spank you ever again!" Shadow was weeping and panting as he spoke.

Chance waited for five seconds before asking, "And?" Five more seconds passed and the bulldog smacked the retriever for another howl.

As a final act of desperation Shadow added, "Sir?" Chance simply groped the old dog's butt while listening to him whimper and watching him writhe. After that Chance got up from his sore rear and started to try to nudge the mailbox off of his friends.

Following a minimal lack of effort the bulldog stated, "I can't get this off you guys. Looks like we'll have to wait for the humans. I mean you'll have to wait for the humans. Goodbye." Chance went back to his comfy place indoors while the other three animals were left outside with their red rumps exposed to the world.
