Here's one of my older characters, Lord Hamunaptura. This was done way back at MFF '01 by the ever-awesome Ebonyleopard.

He's a 300+ year old necromancer warlord who serves an elder demon god. He basically made a deal with the devil to save his family from death at the hands of their enslavers. Since then he's created an empire from those he's freed and has turned the tables, the former oppressors now being the oppressed. He rules the city of Zaranon with an iron hand, his queen Kamilah at his side.
