Grover is one of the group’s “slightly off” members. He’s a bit of a joker but works well with the rest of the team as their rogue like fighter. He’s often paired with Redcliff as the two of them are still considered “Squires” His talents are as his Cutie mark would suggest, working in the shadows, scouting at night, sneak attacks on single targets and generally causing confusion for enemy forces on the battlefield. While he prefers the shadows to fight from, he works just as well as a second string fighter up close and personal, sometimes changing out one of his daggers or short swords to fight with a buckler.

Grover used to be a bandit/pirate within Paladia but he took on a more Robin Hood like way of things and was ousted from his gang. He started his own gang that shared his ideals, but bandits are still bandits and eventually he was caught by the law. Rather than being hung, Gustave paid for his freedom and had him join the Paladian Knights.

While Grover might seem the type to be dark and brooding given his fighting style, his past, and generally his way of dress, he is actually quite entertaining to be around. His antics are what keep the group from taking itself too seriously, often teaming up with Buckle and Redcliff for everything from songs to drinking games. It's not to say that Grover doesn't have a dark side, he just prefers to leave the past behind him and from his experiences can even offer up a bit of advice or clever solution to a problem.
