Background/History
Bardolf hails from the small Japanese town of Niseko in the Abuta district and was raised by his parents Amy and Kirk Snowolf. He was born in Kimobetsu, but moved to Niseko when he was only a pup at the age of 3. He enjoyed his childhood with some of the other wolves around town, but soon discovered that he wasn't like the others. At the age of 7, he discovered that he was developing scales on his nose and legs and that he was beginning to develop a pair of wings on his back. Concerned, his parents took him to the local doctor to see if he could help. Much to their dismay, the doctor was unable to do anything to help. At the age of 8, his parents took him to a temple where dragons were the dominant species and just left him at the main entrance. Alone, scared and confused, he cried for several hours after they had left him. After a few hours, the elder of the temple found him curled up in the corner of the temple by the entrance and knelt down to see why such a young pup had been left all alone with nobody to care for him and discovered that he was a wolf/dragon hybrid. Shocked by what he had found, the elder gently picked Bardolf up and held him close to try and calm him down. Soon, Bardolf had calmed down enough to talk to the elder. Bardolf soon discovered that the elder's name was Pendragon and that he was the leader of the temple. The two became almost inseparable as friends soon after. After a few days of settling in, Bardolf had gone to see Pendragon for his advice and to talk to him about what was going on with his body and why he was changing. Pendragon smiled and informed the young pup that he was a special and very rare creature called a wolf/dragon or wolagon for short. Somewhat confused by this, Bardolf asked how he became like this and Pendragon told him that sometimes when a wolf pup is exposed to some dragon DNA, it will bond with them and turn them into a wolagon. Months soon passed and Bardolf had been wandering the temple looking for something to do to help keep his mind occupied and found a dragon who was creating some weapons from scratch. This caught the young pup's eye and piqued his interest. He walked over to the dragon who was hammering away on a new weapon and asked them what they were doing and how they made the weapon. The dragon smiled and showed Bardolf how to make weapons and shields from raw materials that could be mined from a nearby quarry. The dragon showed Bardolf how to work the materials into the pieces that were on display in the shop and gave him some materials to work with so he could get used to how the materials reacted when heat was applied and when they were hammered out. Bardolf took to this trade quickly and was informed that the trade he was interested in was called blacksmithing. Bardolf enjoyed being a blacksmith and decided to keep it as his new favorite past time. Months turned to years and Bardolf became more and more skilled with the blacksmithing trade, so much in fact that he was even beginning to take commissions from others outside of the temple.

World/Setting
Bardolf comes from Japan and currently lives in Michigan in the United States with his mate, Emi. They met one another a few months ago at a con in Japan where she was on vacation. Emi is a tan colored wolfsky with sapphire blue ear tips, claws, tail tip and tongue.
