Character Design Wizard of OZ

So I am taking Character design this year and the story we had was "The Wizard of OZ". That being the case I had to do the cowardly lion of course. XD

I'm going for a more sci-fi space opera sort of spin on it though. The artists I used for reference were mainly Van Gogh and Frank Lloyd Wright. There is more to come and I need to color this but I thought I would at least put these up. Also his clothing was inspired by Klingons of all things.

These are just 3 of 5 poses I had to do but I'll post more later.
