Why are we afraid of the dark ? Long before the light fire provided was able to be created the night was when we were at our most vulnerable. The dark was chiseled into our genes as something to fear not because of the darkness itself... But for all of the things that move about under its veil. and to this day, some very unsavory things lurk .. ready to pounce.
Perhaps you should leave a light on while at your computer , just so the bight light of the screen doesn't blind you to the hand slowly creeping to your throat ~
