Verb used is Patreon contribution to slowly have me work this massive character filled commission for him. While it took a long time to finally finish, I think the end result was worth it.

Cool pic. That bat singer looks like she should be in a death metal band. =P

Cool, I may have to do this for some of my ideas, if that's okay?

RisingDragon

@ HellDoradoLion

Sure no problem, I'm going update my Patreon soon to let others on this type of commission process.

I like the way the light plays off the bat's piercings.

And this is an amazing picture RD ^_^

Awesome artwork RD!!! I can see why Squeakers would be there, but where is Mouse bait at?

VerbMyNoun

link

@ FoxyLove

Mousebait is there, just not in the pic. I could only afford to include a certain number of characters, and I have Samantha in the pic for

Cormenthor

already.

Is that a mustang bass under that bat wing?

@ bluecoffeedog

Very good eye! You know your Fenders! It's a Malibu Mustang. (Even if RD changed "Fender" to "Fantastic".)

Thanks U w U

I'm a fan of Fenders

@ bluecoffeedog

It was kind of funny, because RD did the instruments first, and he was so proud of how the bass turned out... Only to have the body hidden by the wing.

@ VerbMyNoun

Well they did a Fantastic (ha) job!
I could totally tell it was a mustang just from the cutaways. o -o

I love how much this picture captures: the band trying to look cool and intense even though they're playing for a bunch of highschoolers, the happy couple, the perhaps-less-happy couple, and the solo girls who hope to be as cool as the bat-guitarist someday.

VerbMyNoun

11 years, 2 months ago

link

@ GeorgeGlass

Just out of curiosity, which couple is the perhaps-less-than-happy one?

GeorgeGlass

11 years, 2 months ago

link

@ VerbMyNoun

The one where the boy is glancing suspiciously to the side--like maybe he's really interested in that other girl and jealous of the boy she seems to be so happy with.

VerbMyNoun

11 years, 2 months ago

link

@ GeorgeGlass

Hmm. It wasn't meant to seem that way. As close in to each other as they are, he is meant to be looking at his girlfriend. No suspicion or jealousy... At least, not at this point in their lives.

GeorgeGlass

11 years, 2 months ago

link

@ VerbMyNoun

OK. It's just a little hard to tell the exact direction of his gaze. Also, his facial expression is hard to read at this angle.

BlastoTheHanar

11 years, 1 month ago

link

@ GeorgeGlass

It was a bit easier to read his expression without the lighting effects maybe. Kinda surprised RD didn't upload multiple versions of this beast of a pic.

RisingDragon

@ GeorgeGlass

lol once you mention it, I could kinda see it.
