Very good eye! You know your Fenders! It's a Malibu Mustang. (Even if RD changed "Fender" to "Fantastic".)

It was kind of funny, because RD did the instruments first, and he was so proud of how the bass turned out... Only to have the body hidden by the wing.

I love how much this picture captures: the band trying to look cool and intense even though they're playing for a bunch of highschoolers, the happy couple, the perhaps-less-happy couple, and the solo girls who hope to be as cool as the bat-guitarist someday.

Hmm. It wasn't meant to seem that way. As close in to each other as they are, he is meant to be looking at his girlfriend. No suspicion or jealousy... At least, not at this point in their lives.
