Give 'em the 'ol six gills on their head. that's all I can say much for.
Oh, and also, try looking at various kinds of axolotls. I like the leucent (white/pink) ones. There's also an albino leucent one, where they have red eyes.
and Olms, huh...
Edit: oh yeah, they do look similar all right. But here's how you can tell the difference between an Olm and an Axolotl.
