I just don't know how you do it. How can anyone possible draw and then colour with so much attention applied to light and shadow. I remember watching you colour the snowmobile and thinking how can anybody get it so right first time out without needing to start from scratch half a dozen times until they get it right. Really, I should ask you to name them as I haven't seen them. Well I know one or two who come close in terms of their line art and character creation ability but your colour work pushes you to the top. You simply will just have to accept this as fact.

I really like this pic too :3 I made it the wallpaper on my new LCD TV I'm using as a second monitor, and I never fail to pause in appreciation when my desktop comes up ^^ I love your pictures that catch characters in a moment of stillness and diverted introspection; it strikes me as a very Japanese sensibility that can be tough to pull off with this subject matter, and you're one of a very few artists I can think of who works in this subtle emotional range.
And I freaking love your snowmobile design! Wood skis on outboard armatures looks hella classy. Beats the heck out of my grandfather's painfully yellow skidoo, which made you reek of gasoline down to your long johns ^^;;;
