Well, first I must say those were the best days of my life, not just the Anthrocon, but the whole adventure I lived in the month of July 2015, probably the best month I've experienced and that will be truly unforgettable. My journey began in Merida, Mexico, and continued in Quintana Roo, in those so beautiful beaches, probably the most beautiful in the world (including the famous beach of Cancun).
In that first weekend, I had an excellent companium, Roni (my boyfriend), two very good friends I've rarely seen (Vook and Licos), hey, well, actually I was surrounded by great friends (Oselotti, Andy Snowleopard, Ruakuu and Targus) After this great weekend, Oselotti, Andy, Targus, Ruakuu and me, went to Pittsburgh, where we find Salmy and Moof there. Salmy has been a friend of me for many years and just on this trip I had the honor of meeting him in real life. Moof is another good friend who has visited me twice before in Mexico.
The first day we went to Pittsburgh Zoo and to a mall. The second, which was the first day of the Anthrocon, I started meeting good guys, and met Physics, a cheetah from Hong Kong who is quite nice, with whom I had a great time; several boys who got to know within the headless zone. In the rave I had fun enough, I'm not use to dance, but on the event I got it from the energy of the place, letting me go and having fun to the fullest.
I started my second Anthrocon day in panels with Uncle Kage, that person is pretty funny and so hilarious. I went to the dealer's den, where I spent a lot of money, just looked how my wallet was becoming increasingly thinner, but I bought many treasures. Perhaps something that happens all the first time furries go to a furry convention. I was at the Fox Amoore concert I love his music, he and his band are very good in live. And I ended my day with another night rave. Very funny.
The third day was the fursuit parade, never before had I felt so happy as when we went out and all the people around us applauded, they were very happy, and the kids asked for hi fives. It was an experience I hadn't ever lived before, perhaps this will repeat in another moment, but I don't think I could feel the same as that first time.
That day also saw Sammy, Friske Crisps, and I could talk better with Physics, and I met Panda named Panda, he's a great guy. I'm skipping many moments, because otherwise this would become a novel, and nobody would read it. The evening of the third day of AC I didn't go to rave, I preferred to spend it in the bar with good friends, at Tonic's. I had a great time there.
I pause here to discuss something I could realize in me and it caught my attention. I am a very shy guy, that's normal on me, also in furmeets I usually be very quiet, and I think that's not so nice for people who wants to know me. The trip to the convention made me very nervous, because now I had to speak English that is not my native language to socialize. But when I needed to socializing at Anthrocon, I felt more confident, it was easier to talk to a stranger, I just talked. My shyness was reduced several points.
The fourth day was amazing, I participated in the fursuit games, I had a great time, I had an excellent team (orange team!!), It was very funny, and I thought "this would be even more perfect if I my team won first place" and so it was !! Something I love about the American people is that they are very euphoric, plus it seems that all the time are screaming, exploiting their emotions and become a bomb, they are very intense, is not something that happens with people of my country, who I also appreciate so much, despite Mexicans have a reputation for being always in parties, but not as expressive as northamericans are. That euphoria was the one I liked so much when they announced that my team was winning. I retain the trophy and the bar of my team as a great treasure.
Aw sounds aamzing! AC was my first convention too back in 2007 or so. I also travelled a long way to be there and it was new, exciting and a bit scary. But one of the best weekends of my life. Glad to know you had such fun!

Yep, the same happened, I travelled a really long way. But wow, indeed it was worth it. Best weekend in my life. I really want to come back again. I wish I could go there since 2008, when I just found the fandom and knew about Anthrocon, but it was really hard for me to get the american visa, and I just finally got it last year.

It took that long to get a Visa? I get several applications a month that I have to throw away. They do have some prepaid ones that you might be able to get.

Hey, your character is really cute!! I took a look to your gallery n__n And thanks!! I'm ashamed to say this but I'm honest, I'm not sure who were you O///O I talked to many guys, but if you tell me "ah, I was this guy who told you this and this" or "that guy who asked you for a picture, I'm like this and this", or something like that, for sure I'll remember you, I have a great memory of everything what happened on the con, but not with names.

Oh, um... the first time I met you it was with Salmy and Moof on the bottom floor of the convention center near the doors that led to the waterfall area. I think I was wearing a red Dragon Ball shirt when I met you the second time in the zoo and I said you liked your art; you were just getting out of suit. I was at the table with Sammy, Crisp, Moof and some other people too.
I mean, we didn't talk that much cause I didn't really know you that well and didn't have much to say. But it was nice to meet you anyway 'cause I've really enjoyed your art for some time now.

Ooooh I actually remember you, from the zoo. Sorry if I didn't say too much, I use to be shy o///o I almost didn't know anyone but even that I tried to speak a lot of people and make new friends, it was really cool, that was a complete new experience for me. Oww and I would have really wanted to go to the Inkbunny dinner, I never knew about that :(

Going to a furry con for the first time can be a life changing experience... especially if it's the largest one in the world. :) Did you have PCD (post con depression) on the way back? Maybe I can go to AC next year.

Yes, actually it changed a lot of me, but well, since the convention until now, I haven't stopped having new adventures. Convention really changed me a lot, and for good, I have found a new rhythm to my life and has made me happier, so no, I didn't have PCD. And there will be seeing us next year :D

Estaré buscando nuevas formas y cuidado para fursuits, nunca antes me lo había puesto tantos días seguidos, siempre era uno, y lo limpiaba después. Me daba mucha vergüenza que oliera feo.
