Spiny was deliberately created as a parody of all those OCs that are just Sonic with some subtle difference. For the continuation of the series, I'm updating his look to poke fun at Sonic Boom, where the design of Sonic in that series is like the quintessential lame Sonic OC.

In the context of the story, Spiny is Experiment 9, and is fully aware that he resembles Sonic in the extreme, and utterly despises that fact. He turns to villainy seemingly to distance himself from the Blue Blur. He has full control over the Chaos Spear ability, even being able to control its flight path after shooting it.

This is the last pic I have. I don't know if I said that last time, but this time I mean it. The only remaining thing I drew was something for my game.
Later this week I'll wrap up World of GeneX, and my annoying posts for the year will pretty much be done. (barring whether you consider ALL posts of mine annoying)
