I felt the light-and-fast style of a scout fit Dash well. She’s swift and aggressive, and lethal for it.
For her outfit, I wanted to channel something kind a spartan. And really, pegasi in this AU in general will be various flavors of Greece; which seems appropriate to me considering the origin of “pegasus” as well as Cloudsdale architecture in the canon show, which has some vaguely greek vibes to it.
With the dual swords, I'd have pegged her a Ranger, rather than a scout. But then again, I don't think she has the level of interest in nature that role would need.
