The day started with a deep yawn as Shane slowly woke up. Normally, shi'd be springing to hir feet and rush to the kitchen to get some breakfast, but not in recent months. For the past 8 months, a tansky has been growing in Shane's womb, waiting for the last month to end so he'd could be born.
Shane cradled hir belly as shi made hir way to the kitchen. “I hope you're hungry today.” Shi said as shi set a large meal down; some cereal, some toast, bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles. Shane could feel hir pup move as shi ate her breakfast, almost as if he was happy with such an over-sized meal. After finishing, Shane rubbed hir large belly, feeling quite a bit larger after the meal, shi then put the dishes in the sink and went to the bathroom to wash up for the day.
In hir room, Shane put on some clothes; some jeans, hir shoes and socks (which took some work to put on reaching around that belly,) and finally, hir shirt, which didn't even fit over hir belly! Shane giggled as shi looked at hir form in the mirror, not caring for the fact shi never bought any maternity clothes, instead preferring to show off hir distended belly proudly. Happy with the way shi looked, shi grabbed hir purse and walked outside.
“I think it'd be a good idea to shop for some groceries, what do you think, hon?” Shane said to hir unborn pup, causing him to wriggle in response, almost as if in approval. Halfway to the supermarket, Shane saw a familiar face come hir way.
“Hey, sis! Long time, no see!”
“Oh, hey, Nexy!” Shane smiled as he ran into hir sister Nexia “I'm on my way to grab a few things for the little one”
She smiled as she remembered the day Shane told her shi was pregnant. “That's nice. Have you named him yet?”
“Not yet. I'm still thinking of a few names for him.” Shane said, scratching hir head.
“I'm sure you'll pick the best one.” Nexia chuckled. “Well, I'd like to talk to you more, but I have some errands to run myself, so I'll see you later, okay?”
“Okay, then. Later, sis!” Shane smiled and waved as the two continued on their separate ways.
After a while, Shane reached the supermarket and picked out a large shopping cart which an attendant gladly assisted hir in controlling.
Walking down the isles, Shane picked up some of hir favorite items... and a few exotic ones as well.
“Wow, mam! You sure pick out some unique items for someone in your condition!” The attendant remarked as he looked on at the over-filled cart, holding onto it to keep it from spilling over.
“Well, it does kinda run in our family.” Shane giggled as they walked to the checkout counter.
As the attendant kept placing the food items onto the counter, the clerk kept scanning them, making the total raise and raise.
“That'll be $541.73.” The clerk said as Shane pulled out hir debit card and typed hir pin number. “Deliver it as always?” he asked, knowing that Shane prefers running, or running as in this case.
“Yup! You know where I live.” Shane said to the clerk and attendant as shi put hir card back into hir purse and waved by to the both of them and left for home.
After shi got back, Shane turned on hir TV and then hir PS3 to watch a couple of Blu-ray movies shi bought the day before.
“Despicable Me. Wanna watch that, hon?” Shi asked hir unborn son as shi inserted the disc.
Before shi could sit down start the movie, the doorbell rang, prompting hir to roll out of hir seat and answer the door. “Should've known they'd get here before I could get halfway into the movie.” Shi giggled as shi thought of how shi'd normally get to hir house a half-hour before hir groceries.
Shi opened the door and allowed the shopping attendant from the store in to help put away hir groceries.
After about 15 minutes of putting everything in it's place, shi gave the attendant a $10 tip as shi led him to the door.
“Say, can I ask if you decided on a name for him yet?” The attendant asked.
“I'm stuck between two: Fawlk and Dillon” Shane answered.
“Hmm... I kinda like both names. Why don't you use them?”
“That's not a bad Idea, actually... 'Dillon Fawlk...' Yeah! That sounds like a nice name!” Shane said as shi pulled out an extra $5. “Here. I think you deserve this for all your help today, hon.”
“Oh, thank you, mam!” The attendant smiled and noded. “See you next time you shop, okay?” He said as he returned to his truck.
Shane closed the door and returned to hir sofa, lying down to watch hir movie, smiling as shi looked at the clock. “I'll bet you'll be wanting lunch after this movie's over, huh?” Shi said, rubbing hir belly. Fawlk would then wriggle around, as if he was saying 'yes.'
“I'm gonna miss having you in me, but I'm gonna love holding you in my arms, hon.” Shane said as shi started the movie, thinking of the the day shi'll give birth.
