back when i lived on the farm here in ohio eons ago, the guy mom was married to at the time had some family nearby who also lived on a farm and we'd go over there a lot for cookouts n stuff. well the quickest way there was on this short stretch of road cutting through these woods and just at the entrance was a field and whoever owned that property thought that woods and overgrown, creepy, fields weren't spooky enough on their own and put up some really poorly made crosses. like these Giant handmade wooden crosses that were easily 12-15ft tall there were at least 5 of them from what you could see from the road and, man, driving through those dark woods at night with those crosses waiting for you at the end....
it's sort of out of the way from where we live now and we have no reason to go over there anymore but if i ever find myself out that way again i'll take a picture if they're still up but that was darn near 10 years ago now
