This pokemon is a bit of an oddity in that evolving actually does very little to its stats; rather than improving upon them, it just switches to slightly different stats and different typing, along with a different movepool. Adderpault, the Rock/Poison, is more of a physical powerhouse, having relatively low Speed, fairly good Attack and Defense, and below average Special and Special Defense. It learns mostly Poison attacks, with some Rock moves mixed in, and surprisingly few defensive abilities for its stat distribution. Trading it while it's holding a Shed Shell will evolve it into Steel/Poison Howitziper, which trades its Attack in for Special, while distributing its defensive stats more evenly. Howitziper's movepool is drastically different, including more special attacks to go with its stronger Special stat as well as giving it a couple of better defensive moves to help its role as a staller.
