Hey, I can't recall if you've mentioned this, but have you ever read John Dies at the End? Because I'm suddenly reminded of a 'you're in over your head' speech one character gives another towards the end, that I think Julia would stand to benefit from.

Haven't read or seen it, no. Seems pretty terrible from what I've heard.

It's not to everyone's tastes, as it's just a really weird blend of horror-comedy. (And while I wouldn't say the movie's bad, as such, let's just say the novel's a lot more relevant to the conversation) But there's a scene near the end where one character says to another something to the effect of "Okay, look, I can see you're all excited and raring to go on this adventure. But you really shouldn't, because I can't guarantee I'm not just hallucinating all of this and best case scenario we're probably going to die horribly." And the person on the receiving end of the spiel is reminding me a lot of Julia.
