Taking a break from doing skater pictures, I somehow got caught by this little idea.
The inspirations are too numerous to count: First, of course Mass Effect 2 (obviously), but also I recalled some works of kaa kaa who often did space backgrounds, which I really liked. Besides that, I felt like drawing my character again in a different variation.
On this approach, I tried to make the fur stand out a bit more, like in the commission eclipsewolf did for me. It did look okay, though most of it got lost when I needed to tune down the brightness for atmosphere reasons.
For the backgrounds, I again used textures provided by hibbary on her deviantart account.
It was a fun picture, even though it kept me up most of the night already and the pose is not really that exciting, but still I very much like the final result.
