It just reminded me of the exchange student from Egypt I hosted back at school. We had to share our experience in art and creative writing - I did several projects for the NSFW art community and I couldn't show those to him - they were too private. But later, when I started my grad school education, it was not so shameful to share such art projects and stories - our teacher was an erotica blog writer, so we could discuss any topic - just like this I now write my paper today for my project (for his class).
