Yep, you heard it right folks... this is not the furry Jack you know. This is another version of Jack Armstrong... one that is completely different than Jackie Armstrong. This was made many years ago and the art style is old, yet this is my OC feral pony.

Name: Jack Armstrong
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Race: Human/Pegasus Stallion
Weapon: Collapsible Bi-Structural Steel Alloy Bo-Staff

Spoiler Warning: Origins and Background follow below.

Jack Armstrong once lived his life as an aloof and stubborn person with no friends or family to care for him, because he was born with a powerful essence inside him that belonged to an almighty being, Am'Dhaegar. Am'Dhaegar had two parts, Purity/Peace and Corruption/Chaos. Jack was born with a sigil on his stomach, the 'Eye of Eternal Darkness,' which represented the darker spirit, Zalgo. People around Jack resented and feared him, believing he was containing the ungodly entity that had taken countless lives over the millennia. Jack tried to prove his innocence by showing courtesy to those who despised him, but it was no use.

Sometime in his life, he discovered the person responsible for making Jack such a pariah, the Avatar of Zalgo. Jack became obsessed with obtaining vengeance, and trained himself relentlessly for his ultimate showdown.

At the age of 20, he met with six special friends that changed his life forever. They were none other than the Elements of Harmony. He learned how to be kind, loyal, generous, honest, and learned how to laugh. His heart and soul were released from the cruelty that had bound them for all those years. But he still couldn't shake his desire for vengeance.

Jack and his friends fought against Zalgo himself, the Hivemind of Chaos. They succeeded, and Zalgo was imprisoned inside a scroll, never to return to the mortal world again. However, Jack's body was damaged beyond repair during their fight, and was on the verge of death. Miraculously, Celestia created a new pony body for Jack, and managed to transfer his soul into it.

Not fully ponified, Jack now resembles an incomplete pegasus. The difference between a regular stallion and himself is that he can only walk on his hind legs and his wings are crippled and weak but tolerable through gliding. But despite the negative impact, there are also positive changes. His whole body is now twice as strong and flexible as his human body, plus his deception heightened to give him clarity through tough situations. For his 'Curse Mark' (The counterpart of a Cutie Mark), it is the same sigil Jack was born with during the scarification. According to legend, those who inherent or receive the Curse Mark is stricken with a powerful curse that will haunt them until their death. The curse be it horrific nightmares, maddening whispers from the gods, and a dark split personality. However, if he or she performs a certain sacred deed that will bring true happiness to not only themselves but to others as well, the Curse Mark will disappear, and a cutie mark will appear in its place.

Now Jack isn't your average human turns into a pony type deal or a brony going to equestria and crap, this is more of a tragic race that can be very similar to the show's canon if it we're 13+ rated. For my real head canon, I took the liberty of using the innocent cartoonish violence (Tirek vs Twilight was a small exception), their peaceful land, and their heartwarming environment elements, then incorporate those into a world where outside of Equestria lies horrors beyond their comprehension. They're like childish creatures with their feeble hearts and fragile minds who know nothing what true horror, hatred, pain, fear, and suffering is. Here's a summery of what my head canon for humans are:

Humans rarely have any harmony in Jack's hometown… or anywhere around the rest of the world. There is no end to their pain as long as there are continuous wars going on outside of Equestria. They used to rule this world long before the ponies' land existed. At that time, everywhere was peace… no fights… no pain… nothing but harmony. That is… until The Elder Gods and the Great Old Ones waged war against the humans. Their entire world was one big battleground, and their destruction caused the humans' friendship bonds to break. The accursed gods corrupted their lives, making their world a living hell. Now… humans have became an endangered species. They forged hatred and despair towards one another because of their cruel fate.

War breeds their desires to protect those closest to them, and acknowledge their existences. As long there is love, there will be hatred, and while that hatred grows will eventually give rise to new pain. That's one of the main reasons why some humans formed a cult to worship Cthulhu, so that he can be their salvation and bring justice to those who would oppose him. Humans don't know how Equestria was made or how it got its harmony, but all they knew was that during the world war, lots of their warhorses escaped from battle and faded from existence by an unknown force. That force then evolved them into what the ponies are all are today. Humanity has been living in disharmony longer than Jack had. They are considered to be the most mature species of all living creatures due to the immense pain they had dealt with. It’s sad to think that this is their fate… now and forever. Jack is a prime victim of their suffering, for he went through hell to get to where he is now.

While that explains the human's side of history, here's the land we all know and love. Equestria and its inhabitants have covered themselves in harmony for millenniums. The childish creatures are incapable of understanding what true pain is, just like Jack's pain for example. It’s because their emotions and perspectives are small and weak. That’s why they are guarded by their Goddess’s divine protection. And that’s why they know so little about the humans. They’re shrouded by a magical force that shelters them from the darkness that surrounds the land.

Outside of Equestria, lands and cities were born and left to bear misery and hatred, while their land is submerged in paradise. There is no such thing as real violence in Equestria, for they make a fool of themselves into thinking that their level of violence is like the same as the human is. However, as long as there is good, there is also evil. What you don’t know is that shards of their negative influences sometimes sneak into their land unnoticed and curse the minds on certain living beings. Those shards then take the form of horrific nightmares, and in doing so brings them a vision of what the humans are usually experiencing. The reason for that is with all this suffering the humans are all experiencing, Equestria absorbs their pain and fear by small amounts, thus in doing so plagues their land. We can’t help but think that their era will soon come to an end, and each and every Equestrians will die a horrible death from those horrific images due to overwhelming emotions. (Ex. Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, Rocket to Insanity, ect.)

Do you think it is fair that the inhabitants of Equestria are the only ones allowed to live in true harmony and not the humans? No one really knows or cares. Regardless, humans outside of Equestria will soon find the forgotten land, wage war against the peaceful ponies to obtain harmony for themselves. If that were to happen, then the land of Equestria will just become one huge battlefield. Every single Equestrian will be powerless to stop or escape the bloody onslaught, because they are too naive; they know nothing of absolute fear or true pain. They think they can just make friends with the humans, and they’ll all live happily ever after. Equestria cannot stay as a child forever, and that is the truth.

And what's the most tragic part of this head canon... is that sooner or later, Jack's friends might abandon him and so will he too. The more Jack suffers, the more he feels lost. And the more he becomes lost, the lonelier he'll become. And upon the empty space of loneliness, it will breed hatred and indifference. And that… shall be his greatest downfall. Just because his friends know how he feels, doesn’t mean that they know the extent of his suffering. If Jack cannot show them the extent of his pain, then they will never have any mutual understandings with him. He’ll just end up being a horrible burden to them, and they will start trying to avoid him.

The only pain the ponies experienced so far is losing a loved one from a disease or old age. While outside, that is the most common pain the humans have to endure. Bloody wars, murders, holocausts, revenge, and sacrifices… these connect to the pain Jack and others like him outside of Equestria had to face. There are rarely any shreds of harmony that appear anywhere across the globe. That is why Equestrians will fear the outside, for they cannot comprehend the human's level of pain. And the human's level of violence is way too much for them to handle. Ponies are even afraid of dying more than humans, no matter how much they want to risk sacrificing their lives against their fear of unknown heights. Humans are all living in the middle of such a phenomenon right now. They all know what the past is like, and they all can predict what the future will be. And that... is how history works in their universe.

Now you may ask, why can't the ponies share harmony to the humans? Simple. It is impossible to spread their harmony to a race that their ideal of peace and harmony is outdated. The element bearers might have sympathized with Jack's pain to some extent, but the other Equestrians can’t because they have fragile minds and feeble hearts. Ever since the Avatar of Zalgo invaded their land over a thousand years ago, Celestia and Luna's parents knew that the humans were dangerous creatures, and that they only seek strife and misery.

Even to this day after the attack, the ponies had been kept hidden from the world for centuries to avoid any conflict by making their land invisible. Celestia feels Jack's pain… she truly wanted to unite every single living being into harmony. She also knows there are some humans out there who have the same heart as he does, but she also wants to protect those she cherishes from threats and wars. Celestia and Luna could never forgive themselves if they were to bring war into the peaceful land. Equestria is a place for true peace… and Celestia hopes to keep it that way. If they were to join in on the human's wars now, then neither their kind nor the ponies can ever live in true peace.

Overall, the humans will always have a hard time developing a mutual understanding with the ponies. Even if ponies and humans do understand one another, they all can’t come to an agreement.

End of Spoilers

I don't know if you all don't like bipedal ponies, but I hope this one won't be a problem with you guys. I've done a bunch of research on how to properly turn the bone structures of human legs into pony legs, and this is the best and legit solution I've came up with (The bottom right corner shows two different stallion legs. The left one is Jack's leg while the other is a regular stallion's leg). If you have any questions about him, feel free to comment, and I'll try to be as 'non' spoiler about him as best as I can.
