The website hasn't been updated since 2008, for unleashed. So it's still that age. And, according to the Technical Files from 3's Japanese Side, it was 18, Tails was 8, Knuckles was like 15, and nobody knows how old Eggman is, where he came from, or why he's so mean. Then, in Jam, it changed to 16, while the others stayed 8, 15, and Unknown. Then, it became 15, 8, 16, and Unknown. All respective of course.

it's possiblity there was some arguments with sega of japan and sega of america since in the 20th anniversary documentry they mention having constant dissagrements, also a previous worker in sega from the sonic channel mentioned they are rather rude and sega of japan are a bit racist towards sega of america xD; so it's a posiblity sonic was originaly going to be 18 then sega of america disagreed since they wanted it also aimed at kids so they changed his age? who knows really.
