This came up while I was working on a new Flash videogame. This is what the world looked like a few years before my stories take place. I apologize in advance for all the gross inaccuracies that weren't caused by Flash's drawing system or storyline means.

This will undoubtly bring several questions - and probably a lot of hate - which will be answered in the game, but that you are welcome to ask in this picture's comments. Also whoever finds the greatest intentional inaccuracy of all wins ∞ + 1 internets.

So I guess the UEA forcibly annexed Greenland? 'Cause I can't see Denmark / AEAU giving it up willingly... :P
Oh, and both Koreas are in the AEAU? Wow, I guess post-Kim Jong Il NK got a lot more lenient about foreign influence. :D (That, or they were asked less than cordially.)
And the middle part of Japan (I forget the names of the main islands :P) seems to be taken over by China?
Oh, And one more thing... How on Earth did Russia join the AEAU? I mean, they're almost as paranoidly nationalistic as North Korea, aren't they? And their military is hardly anything to sneeze at, so they must've joined voluntarily.

Greenland is European? Well, that shows the excellence of the Spanish education system. I also got Japan wrong.
For the rest of your points, you can blame this hypothetical future world's political corruption or something.
And yet, the intentional inaccuracy is bigger than those.

Yep, Greenland's part of Denmark. An autonomous part, but still :)
Hmm... something bigger...? I got nothin'. I'm probably missing something really obvious that'll make me feel like an idiot later :P Unless you mean a lack of Antarctica, but the map seems to cut off north of it, so I don't think that's it.
Oh, hey, just noticed... What happened to Portugal? :D

Bingo, that's what I meant. As I posted on FA, 'Portugal got fed up of the Union's blatant corruption and especially their retard Spanish neighbor, so, using their superior technology, they left. They took their whole country and moved it somewhere else, away from the burden that surrounded them. If you look closely, you can see they moved approximately to the opposite point of the world, and are now an island.'
