"Oh, hey. You're awake. I thought you might be dead."

First off, these are not her canon proportions. See, Deedee here, like some of my creations, came from a dream I had. The dream happened to be in Mobian proportions, so I wanted to try my hand at that.

Another Together Alone character for the roster.  I'm toying with the thought of giving her limited ESP.

Below is the very enjoyably creepy dream she came from. As ever, I love my dreams. <3

__________________________________________________________

A new character I hadn't made before (A snow leopard.) got in a car accident on an icy road. He was tossed from the car, but the car itself went over a cliff. So there he is in the deep of the forest in the snow.
He's gathering whatever else he can find that was tossed out of the car before passing out, not having realized he was a little more banged up than he thought. When he wakes up he's warm again, inside a small cabin with a deer girl that apparently dragged him in to shelter.

Oh, wait, there was a hike up to a mansion, but nothing eventful happened. Anyway, they go up to see if they can get assistance, maybe even a ride. But the mansion, despite having lights on, is unoccupied.
They do some searching, don't turn up a lot, and unfortunately no keys for any vehicles. The decide to stay the night instead of hiking in snow in the dark, and that's when they finally spot someone.
It looks like some type of ram, pretty old, a servant from his mode of dress. He smiles, and occasionally looks their way, but doesn't approach them or say anything. He just wanders aimlessly.

I don't just mean he walked pointlessly, I mean he genuinely didn't seem to know how to walk with an intended destination. He would walk into a room a few steps and back out. He'd walk halfway down a hall and turn without a pause and travel back. The whole way he would stay just ahead of reach, and if you ran he'd round a corner and vanish.

And he would smile the whole time. His shoulders would occasionally shake as if he was chuckling, but there wasn't the sound of laughter.
I should mention the lights were for shit. Ever been in a place where the bulbs are on the fritz in such a way that they don't flicker, but they kind of...buzz? Giving you half dimmed light that's not interrupted, but not quite constant either. Like a very fast animation that's missing a small amount of frames.

We finally found him on the ground floor in the foremost corner of an unlit room. I took him by the shoulder to turn him around, and as I did he started to speak. Sort of. Whatever he was saying was extremely slurred and all jibberish. Word soup. He was still smiling as he went on, and started slumping down. Slowly, the farthest back edges of his skin started turning ink black, and from there flowing with a reflective shine. At first I thought he was melting, turning into a massive tar, but the problem with that is that he was getting larger and rather than retaining some of the old ram man shape.
He was deforming, looking less like a person and more like a mass. The substance was thick and viscous, webbing between one body part and the next. He continued to attempt to speak, but it became more muffled. It stopped altogether as metal fingers spread out from inside his mouth.

I noticed that the mass had become attached to the wall he was nearest to, and that it too was warping and spreading with that webbing between pieces. As a matter of fact part of the mass was looking more like a tunnel, and the tunnel looked like it was...well...swallowing something.

The fingers in his mouth were pushing out more, and it became apparent that it was a gauntlet.   Some of the webbing spread further and a broken, ripped portrait pressed out. On the floor a chair leg thumped out, helping it push forward.
As near as I can guess, whatever this thing was, it was eating the house...and its former owners, and making it part of its mass.
Around here we ran like crazy for the garage in hopes that we could just start a car and get the hell out. But I woke up around then.

Gotta love those kinds of dreams. Oddly enough, you seem to appear out of nowhere. You seem to join them after they were alone. Was it a dream where you were, how should I put this? Like you were watching a movie?

The vast majority of my dreams are from the viewpoint of watching a movie, but I'm always experiencing it as one of the characters despite not having their POV. And yet it flows perfectly. So something like a deeply immersive, interactive movie.

Your spooky, atmospheric pieces are really getting stunning.

I'm loving the choice of backdrop, and the use of light and shadow here is really amazing.  I'm loving the little deer-nub's design.  Her colors and look are really quite striking.

More awesome Tendrak spookle. X3
