If you don't understand it, the fading colours ,means the rejection to life and its many colours. The hearts and stars represents prison that the Moi/Mio (idk), that the Hikikomori Otaku lifestyle that it holds. The colourful strings stands for friendship/love/companionship.
I hate how this lifestyle controls you. It makes me sick.
