Well I've been watching the new season of MLP and it's gotten me off my butt and dong some sketching. I've had the idea for this unicorn for a while now to round our my lil group of MLP characters and he's finally seen fruition. ^^

"Come on Spec you can hit harder than that! Make me work for it." TimberBlade said as twirled the sword in his hand grown from a tree limb with his own magic.

"Why do I have to be your sparing partner? I'm not good at this and I keep getting knocked on my flank!" Star Spectrum complained as he held a similar sword and flexed his sore wings. "S-sides I don't wanna hurt you."

"Spec. The blades are blunted and I left em a bit flexy. You won't hurt me. Sides you need this practice too." TimberBlade told him as he brought his sword back up.

"But why do I need to learn how to do this. Your the one who wants to join the Royal Guard someday." Spectrum continued to complain as he held up his sword shakily.

"It's always good to know so self defense. Sides you did ask me to teach you a few things after that last visit to Canterlot. How'd that go BB?" Timber asked looking over to a tan gold Earth Pony working on some gadget.

"The city was overrun by a swarm of parasitic shape shifting creatures and we spent the afternoon alternating between running and hiding." Bubble Beaker said as he looked up from the gauntlet at the two.

"Exactly. Oh and lets not forget stinky with you two." TimberBlade laughed lightly remembering that they couldn't stop long enough for either BB or Spec to change their diapers.

"Hey you weren't much better! Your shorts had a wet spot by the end of the day!" BB said crossing his arms with a smirk. "And you spent the rest of the time complaining about your shorts being wet. At least we didn't have that problem."

"You know a diaper really would be more absorbent than those pull-ons." Spectrum put in more matter of factly.

"I don't need them. I only have erm...occasional bladder issues. Besides whoever heard of a Royal Guard in a diaper?!" Timberblade exclaimed as his face grew red.

"You know somehow I think they'd care more about how well you can fight than your bathroom habits." BB said putting in his two cents.

"Whatever can we please change the subject?" TimberBlade asked with a groan.

"Sure. I vote we give it a rest for the day and go get dinner before the sun sets." BB suggested popping to his hooves and slipping the gauntlet into his backpack.

"Yeah same here! I-I'll pay for yours Timber. You know for helping me with everything." Spectrum offered with a smile and a blush.

"Ah alright I guess it has been a full day. And thanks Spec! Your the best!" TimberBlade grinned as his horn glowed a green blue color followed by the swords' which shrank down into harmless hilts to be stored away.

"Awww thanks." Spectrum smiled more brightly though still blushing as TimberBlade put an arm around both is buddies. "Sides I bet your both pretty soggy by now and I'm sti...."

"What still soggy like the rest of us?" BB asked with a smirk immediately figuring what'd just happened.

"We'll stop by the restrooms before we order anything" Spectrum said as it was now Timberblade's turn to be blushy.

"Th-thanks." TimberBlade nodded still blushign as they walked off out of the woods heading back into town for get clean flanks and get some dinner. It'd been a full day of sparing for TimberBlade. Most unicorns relied a lot on magic. He did too in a way for stuff like swords but there was more to him than just magic. He was strong and fast but best of all he had friends. And that was more than any Magic could ever hope to be.
