Tom: "Hahaha, I finally got you after years of struggle and failure" Tom laughed in delight holding the mouse by the tail as he put him into a nearby water jar, quickly closing the lid tightly. He put the jar on the table and watched the critter trying desperately to escape but to no avail, the jar was too strong and the lid too tight. The mouse began to feel panic enrapture his gut as he realised escape wasn't possible and he would soon drown. He tried giving him a cute "Don't let this happen to me" expression. "Thats not going to work this time you little rat!" Tom replied as he continued to watch him slowly becoming more and more desperate.
The rest is up to you to decide how that short story goes =p (Maybe Jerry knocked the jar off by heaving into the side XD) Though it is nice to see the bad guys win one for a change...Not even a big fan of the show but Jerry's a cute critter, decided to go ahead and dunk him =p
