This is a second bit for a separate anthology book the Bards are doing. Nick, other other owner of the group lives out in Virginia, so they are doing a book out there. Seems like a nice way to start branching out.

They gave me a photo to base this one's composition on, but it was in a coffee house. I was asked to do something like a library.

I wanted to do something ambient or atmospheric with the lighting. This one overall was a bit simpler and quicker since I wasn't drawin up a ton of critters like I usually do for these covers/events.

Work was doing in graphite on cardstock, then mixed with digital painting for color. Usual stuff.

What's interesting about these yearly things for me, is that they show how my art changes from year to year. They really so a big difference in some ways.
