THANK you :) Yeah, i was using the program LMMS. which is also available for windows, if you don't use Linux. It's more or less like a freeware FL Studio. I've been using it for my re-arrangement works for a few years now and it keeps getting better and more stable.

oh i'm actually using Mint 17.1 32 bit. Had been experimenting with some different releases and other distris as well. On my Laptop there's still an experimental Mint 15 KDE version on it and i haven't updated it to a stable release because i doubt the AMD video acceleration will be still active for my AMD graphics.... On my Desktop my AMD graphics is no longer supported and there's also no properitary driver option -.- which is why i can't play 3D games anymore...
