He had a handful of commissions others got of their characters going to ZCI having their characters be thrown in situations where there were, surprise, zero consequences. Got us to think - what would happen if Kain DID happen to get all the power he wanted and rule a land the way he envisioned? What would he be like then?
Its *mostly* canon for Kain to do what he does here. mostly.
