Lynda Gates is the MIA mother of resident psychopath Rachel Gates. Her husband William had died looking for her after she had been missing for a couple weeks. Years later in the present, she has been spotted in a remote settlement, making perfect use of her trade skill: gunsmithing. With poor technology levels in her settlement, Lynda brought them back up to speed with repeated salvage of Robotnik and HEAT technology, reverse-engineering and creating new firearms to fight them back. Her claim to fame is a clip-fed, semi-auto twin-barreled shotgun that never jams, but more importantly, the mother of two twins.
