Since Black/White came out, I figured I should post the fake pokemon I have on FA.

My Grass starter would be Hissod, which becomes Grass type Grasp at 16 and Grass/Dragon Serpentree at 36. It's meant to be more physically bulky than anything, with pretty even stats all around aside from low Speed and a bit more Defense than Special Defense. Its movepool is built of moves befitting the slow torture of its enemies, such as Wrap, Leech Seed, and Toxic, making it a great wall to use against enemies it's resistant to (particularly Water, Grass, and Electric types). It's got several common weaknesses too though, so you'll have to be good at forecasting what kinds of moves your enemy's going to use.

(As a side note, I actually made this guy not long after 4th gen's release, so I got kind of weirded out by the fact that 5th gen had a Grass Snake starter...)
