A second tip not done from experience, but I have never been strolled since I passed the normal age for it. But I know some still fit the bigger strollers available and some have built their own ride so here is what I learned from them. Just beware of when you do that and with who you do that. Can be a lot of fun but can be dangerous too depending of the local crowd.

Jay Leno quipped "When shopping, don't use a cart with a kid in it !"
At Pathmark,Stop & Shop * I never need to use a cart with a seat or attachment for a kid -except once when none of the regular carts were available.

* I don't shop at ShopRite - since the reconstruction, too hasty in my opinion, I had serious difficulty in finding what I came for, and they don't have automatic checkout.

If you are referring to the kid in the shopping cart -- Jay Leno who retired from the TONIGHT show, pretended that some shopping carts have kids already in them when you arrive at the store, and quipped that such is a perk that NOBODY needs.
