It was amazing what one could do in a few short months. While it had taken time to face the fact that his father, the one he’d been told stories of for so long, may not be his actual father, he couldn’t deny the benefits of his newly discovered heritage, such as the flames that torched the robot manufacturing plants and the illusions that had secretly protected his unsuspecting friends, but still there were too many close calls. It was time to end it, but even with his new powers, it would be foolish to attack the fat bastard in his home.

And so, one night after weeks of misfortunes visiting his bases, refineries and factories, Robotnik marched into the forest with the plan to simply destroy everything in his path until he was rid of the nuisances known as the ‘Freedom Fighters’.
All that was found of them was scorched earth and slag.
